Charging takes up to 17 hours

Hi,

whenever I recharge my new diamond, the light around the camera button starts pulsing and shut stop pulsing, when recharging is finished. I waited up to 17 hours, but pulsing doesn't stop.

When I turn on the diamond, I checked battery status, which is still in "recharging". But then, after 30 minutes, the light stopped pulsing and battery is full!

What can I do to speed up charging?

how are u charging it, via AC or pc USB?

If its PC USM make sure you are not connecting the USB lead through a hub and it is going directly to the PC USB port

via AC. I disabled recharging while connected to USB

same here charging 8 hour the light is going and not stoped

jast ignoret take out the USB from my diamond and the battery is 100%

maybe the charging is stoped but the light not stoped because of some bugs in rom

I've noticed this problem with the original ROM 1.37 when I updated the ROM to 1.93 all is working fine.

On my diamond charge takes up approximately 7-8 hours. After this time telephone stop charging, become colder (during charging is very hot) and circle light stop flashing correctly.
My rom is 1.37 italian original from HTC

haha, ive just looked at my rom version (im assuming its the number in the about row on the settings page.

i got my phone 3 days ago from orange, and im on version 1.0.1630.23

time for a rom upgrade i think

This happened to me too, but I don't think it's a problem. Disconnect the charger after a few hours and it'll be 100%.

1.37 rom and slowly flashing when charging.
when charged and still connected to charger, no more flashing but lights up in circle.
its allso possible how ment to be, show your phone is still on charger, but no more charging because battery full.
