Hello,

was given an 8525 the PO said that it had a white screen and he couldn't get it to do anything so he bought a tilt....

anyways he gave it to me without a battery in it....

is there anyway to plug it in to run it to try to fix the problem without me having a battery?

hate to buy a battery and then not be able to use it caus eht phone really is dead...

personally i think a quick flash on it and it should fire up....

There is no way to do this normally. The Hermes will just show a red LED with no battery in and it will not start.

Theoretically it could be done but so far as I'm aware we do not have info available on the voltages etc you'd need to input to the battery contacts.
You could probably quite easily bypass the charging circuit but unless this is to become a big project for you then really the simple answer is NO.
