HTC Diamond & SPL-1.40

First i want to say hello to all here on the forum. I just registered, did some research but i could not find what i was looking for.

My HTC 3700 have loader SPL-1.40.Olinex installed (Volume- & Reset)

Before i start try change my bootloader i want be sure i can reinstall the original loader (warranty), thats mean the one who is inside my HTC now or another one i can download from internet.

- is there a program that allow me to backup my actual bootloader to PC or ..
- can i download the original SPL-1.40.Olinex from internet, and if yes where can i find it ?

I am sorry if i start my topic with a request. I will keep searching on internet and hope i can find it

Try using the google search as its much better than here.

bootloader is already patched. It seems that you either received phone with non-original bootloader or someone replaced original bootloader with patched version for you.

how do you know that my bootloader is already patched ? i have the SPL-1.40Olinex and not the Hard-SPL ........ can you help me to understand more?

if it says Olinex. that means it has been already patched. olinex is one of the most respected users of this forum and that means you don't have the original spl. it means this device has been already patched with a spl provided by olinex. where did you buy your device?

thx for the answer. i bought my htc on internet. if so i can change and update radio and rom, is that correct?

what is the difference between Rom: 1.37.405.1 WWE and RUU_Diamond_HTC_WWE-ME_1.37.456.2 ... why *ME*, what ME means ?

No one can explain me which is the difference between Rom xxxx WWE and Rom xxxx WWE-ME ?

My HTC ist equipped with UK firmware
