Hi,

I want to cook my own ROM to add Remote Tracker (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=394203).

As I'm a beginner (my first cooked ROM bugs a lot... my PPC tries to install Opera... although I thought I removed it ^_^), I would like first to edit a chef cooked ROM (unfortunaly, I can't "reverse" cook Diamond Project -Tom & Dutty- & Bepe's ROM... but that's an other issue :D) and just add the Remote Tracker package.

So... could a chef prepare a Remote Tracker package for Diamond (or add it in his released ROM), with, of course, a fake rt.dll (as the configuration is initialy stored in this file... I don't want you to track me :D) ?
Then, I'll just have to create my own rt.dll file, and replace it in your ROM and then, just re-cook the ROM.

Of course, if you prefer an other apps (free & easy to use) than Remote Tracker, I could use it too... if you told me how to re-package it ^_^.

Thx :).

It's already in my ROM months ago. You can dump my ROM and extract the package + create the shortcut. It's that easy. One more thing is you don't have to build rt.dll since it will be built the first time you set it up later. Now search for my GM360D.4 Not 2 Lite ROM.

Thx cyphol. I'll check that :). But, what do you mean with "+ create the shorcut" ?

One more thing : I want to build (with RTCreator) the rt.dll so that it's IN the ROM : even if the "thief" make a hard-reset of my diamond, Remote Tracker will be configured with my IMEI & my "backup" phone number... or I didn't understand well how RT is working ?! :s

here is the package with the newest version of the remote tracker, which I cooked in my rom.
do not forget to add the file within the package rt.dll
http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=154978&d=1234034551
download this program, create a rt.dll with your information and paste in the package. then cook your rom and make it hard reset resistant.
http://downloads.sourceforge.net/remotetracker/RTRegCreator.zip?modtime=1228768749&big_mirror=0
to access the program go to windows folder. did not want to make a shortcut to the desktop.
