i have synced my device with the computer after a long time of not doing it and it has deleted all my new phone numbers and putted the ones the were in my out look..
it was a lot!!!

is there something i cant do?
is there some kind of a backup on the device\computer ???

sorry.....active sync uses the computer as its source unless you request the device to be source ....i.e.copy from X to x not both ways

Your information is misleading. A sync is still a sync and if you add new items to the phone then they should be uploaded to the computer... The situation above usually comes about when the PDA has been hard reset or the partnership deleted - and Im willing to bet $50 that's exactly what has happened..
