Ok so I've been with AT&T for a while, nearing 2 years; all under my 8525. It's old now, worn out, water logged, keys unresponsive; but hey, it's what I've got. So the reason I can afford to keep this phone is because I've been using the MEdiaMax200 bundle since date of purchase. Now I call up to go from 200 to 1500 messages and what does this representative do without my consent? She DROPS my plan. Now we're at the point of no return because after running in circles for 30 minutes she lets me know she can't revert back as it isn't allowed to be put on a PDA. I let her know I NEVER LET HER KNOW I wanted to do this but she didn't care. So now I have the PDA1500 plan for like $40 or 45 which I can't afford and I barely use the plan only for IM+ but that always exceeds the allotted MB with other plans so how do I go back manually?

Why not try to do it online? Log into AT&T Wireless and go to THIS PAGE (https://www.wireless.att.com/olam/gotoFeatures.olamexecute). In the past, users have had success in selecting whatever features they want to have. I'm not sure what will happen in your case, as the REP might have put some kind of lock on your account (or AT&T might have changed the website so that users can't adjust this stuff anymore), but hey, it's worth a shot.

Good luck,

Thanks for the reply but it won't show up as an option to add MEdiaMax bundles back =/

I do have an old AT&T cellphone in my home (just need to buy a charger for it - and it's not a PDA)

I remember if I put my sim card in it it'd work, still true?

Thanks for the reply but it won't show up as an option to add MEdiaMax bundles back =/Ahhh, too bad :(

I do have an old AT&T cellphone in my home (just need to buy a charger for it - and it's not a PDA)

I remember if I put my sim card in it it'd work, still true?I really don't know. I guess it wouldn't hurt to try it, but I kinda doubt their systems are that integrated, so that their website knows what type of phone is currently "live". I would think they're driving the webpages from a database that lists what they have on file as the currently active equipment.

But good luck, anyway ... let us know how you make out.
