Hi to all !

UPDATED 08.02.08 !
V2 available.
Bugs corrected.

PLEASE RELOAD !!! :p

This is a little contribution for the HTC diamond.
Available for portrait and land mode in true VGA.

- Choose black or white skin folder.
- Install SPB calc CAB.
- Copy "Spbcalc_P_VGA" and "Spbcalc_L_VGA" files in windows folder with "Total Commander" or others.
- Do a soft reset.
- Enjoy !!! :D

Thanks, looks good........but my calculator keys are not as yours..they travel inward as if you drew them with a horizon point 110mm towards the top.....like looking down an airport runway

Ya, mine does the same. Still better than what it originally came with though.

You must read first post ! ... :rolleyes:

1 : Install CAB in main memory.
2 : With "total commander" copy "diamond calculator skin" files (spbcalc_P & spbcalc_L) in windows folder.

3 : Enjoy DIAMOND Calculator Skin !

Thanks....I have found the problem

I followed your advice and reloaded your files...new download.
removed previous version and graphics
reloaded and reinstalled

graphic remained the same [wrong]
re saved the new graphic again....still the same [wrong]

soft reset made no differance

restarted calculator again and graphic was as before [wrong]
turned to landscape...Graphic was corect
turned back to portrait....graphic is now corect..

Windows must somehow cache the graphic and does not re cache until you turn the diamond to another position and then back....soft reset made no differance.

Working fantastic now...thanks from all of us.

I tested me theory by altering your excellant graphic [and thanks for your hard and excellant work] by lightening the black so as to make it slightly better visable on the diamond.

copied them accross and yes your original graphic [cached] is there...rotated and the new graphic switches in....mystery.

Have included your graphic [you deserve the praise] with my slight allteration in contrast etc.

If you want to use...copy extracted graphics to Diamond's windows [replacing original graphics] start calculator...old graphic will be there...rotate...new graphics will click in.

Nice work!
I have reskinned this calculator a lot to many different themes (QVGA), and was planning on a VGA version... No need anymore!

One thing though, your dot-key is one pixel off (to the left).

What do you mean by uninstalling the cab-file? If you don't want to store the cab-file after installing, just delete it. If you use "remove programs" however, you will uninstall the program itself.

If you are missing the original calculator after uninstalling this version, you are right. The installing of this version overwrites the original files. They are not back-upped somewhere, so the will be gone. You have to find a installer-cab for the original files somewhere.

I still have the same "airport runway effect " desipte remove and reload .
a) Have use Resco to copy the gif files from internal memory to /mydevices/windows.

b) Also try rotating the Cal from landscape to portrait .

Despite this .. The airport effect remains .. Wonder if the key here is using TOtal Commander or Resco ?

Can anyone throw a light and advise a poor new noobie here ?

b) Then I install from internal memory which gives you an option whethre to install into main or internal; which i selected main ...

Earlier post states , main memory ... wonder if that got to do with the transfer ? which is highly not possible ... otherwise Cal will not even work at all .

I really wonder why ?

You should not perform a hard reset.That will bring your Diamond back to factory default (or ROM default if you flashed a custom cooked one). And will undo your calculator installation all the way.

No luck getting them to work. These are for the original calculator in WM6 and should work on a Fuze right?

I installed, copied the GIF files to the \Windows directory of my device, did a soft reset, started calculator and see the ugly white with circles design. I switch to landscape and see the same thing. :-(

Install this cab... it works.

Calculator is in PTG... if you wish WWE, unzip MobileCalculator and copy/overwrite to \Windows.

(this cab is full uninstallable, so if you wish again the ugly white circles design, just uninstall it)
