i cant send or receive mms for some reason, with a couple of versions now of this ROM. have tried installing newer arcsoft mms too, still no dice, odd. if i put my sim in my dual, i can send/receive mms no problem, so something with this ROM. apart from that ALL GOOD :)

To start off with some plus points to this release

Boot screen looks great :) Where did the HTC logo screen go btw?
WMP skin looks good! eager to see the landscape version
Commanager looks a lot better this way
Alignment wizard has a very nice skin
TETRIS!!! COOL!!! :D

And now the things i found "wrong" in this ROM

(was this already mentioned, to lazy to look back) The setup (screen alignment and so on) runs 2 times, when choosing reboot after network wizard. (Maybe even more?)
The network wizard is back to old version i saw, too bad the new version didn't work. Hope you can fix this! I KNOW YOU CAN!
Can you remove the default setting of gestures in the normal HTC keyboard. This to leave it more standard to use, not everybody knows gestures (P.S. i hate them)
BatteryStatus wasn't integrated into Home automatically? Is that an error or a choice?
The last few releases I have seen that there are some extra pages in config of phone. Such as band and TTY, these aren't there by default, and i believe are not usefull for most users (correct me if i'm wrong)
Can you also please add the calendar shortcut to the startmenu so it is consistent with the new menu?

I will have to test deleting the Script before running the End message.

The Diamond and Touch Pro Wizard use a new BootUp Manager/Methos that i'm not going to apply to Touch because it is unnecessary Bloat (and i don't know yet if it needs extra drivers that cannot be ported). It would only add more load to the start up sequence (methinks)

The more Settings the Merrier. It doesn't reduce Performance

Check on ShortCut, and I'll Check the Chime.

BTW, I never flash without my StorageCard cause even with older IPL/SPL, I never manage to flash correctly if I remove StorageCard.
So this warning is with StorageCard inside :(

No, I haven't seen all the message after that(WIzard, 'Thanks message' ...) so I suppose the script stop before that.

I reflash but before create myself the 'My Documents' directory
It works. So I suppose the script can't create 2 directories in one command :)

But there is a new problem :)
If you select country/operator and then restart, next time, it will ask for the same question and restart initialisation at start. Click, time/zone, country operator,...

You have to select "restart later" and then finish installation.
Then restart manually. It works in that case

I updated a few minutes ago. Same story here..

But I mis also the touch keyboard?? I have only the standard keyboard. I manually installed the one Noonski gave me above.

So if the Above Reg keys have influence on the Behaviour i can probably add a mort script to enable and disabled this behAVIOUR.

And he actually looks like two drops of water like me. (younger and without a few pounds)

Yeah it's expected behaviour.

Gullum left the the registry keys in for all languages so the cabs could be easier applied.. There propably is a good reason he did not put the registry settings in each cab (a lot of work).

Hei! I just flashed this rom yesterday and am very happy with it.
Two things still bother me tho..

The second thing is that when i listen to music with WMP it sometimes plays one song like 10 secs and then jumps to the other song and same thing. Restart helps to fix it but the behaviour occurs again after some time.
Maybe u know what is causing it?

And i downloaded the rom from your very first post. Does it include the latest fixes?

No i do not overclock i havent changed anything. The cpu changes when it has more operations to do anyways so no need for overclocking for this rom....

I have only had this happening on a few rare occasions (not just this rom)

Once it's happening only a reset helps. But haven't found what was interfering.

This is a rare mystery, and the only thing i've seen till now was High over Clocks screwing it up, so we can scratch that of as the cause.

But you probalpy then still have the public release canditate.

Since then i changed The CPU scaling to max to 221.

Haven't had it for a long while.

You could Consider yourself as a Tester.

Either disable BTStatus CPU scaling or set it to Max to 221 or 237 and see for a week if it pops up it's head.

To me playing music is the most important thing i use my Touch for.

So understand how anyoing it can be.

One more day of rest for me, then sow this baby up for a late Public Sunday release.

Swipe Up means the same way you would start the default Cube.

Time For Lunch and a little walk, then Foorbal, then one final thing to do.

On top of that, im kinda new to this stuff

Okay but your finger in the middle of the Bottom Bar, where you see "New" & "Contacts".

Then keep the finger pressed and move it towards the absolute Middle of the screen. *Swipe.

Or press the Contacts menu that should bring up the Contacts menu, then Place Finger on the Absolute righ middle part of the screen.

Again keeping the finger on the screen Move it to the left side.

You need to edit the shellres.96.dll in Base_Dpi_96 and replace the icons 4609 & 4617 to what you want. I dont remember off hand what the resolution should be but you will know that when you extract the icons for replacing ;)
