I noticed as well that not all Embedded artwork worked for me, but when I seperated by music into folders by Album and added a jpg of the album cover then the album covers were displayed. As the previous post mentioned you have to name the jpg either album or folder. I use "folder" for all my album covers.

sorry for this noob question, but do you do that on your pc, and then transfer? or could I do it on WM? I just did what you've said on my storage device inserted to my WM (renamed the jpg pic to the folder name), but I still don't get the album cover pic...

I get all of my album covers from this site
http://albumart.org/index.php?srchkey=Moby&itempage=4&newsearch=1&searchindex=Music
and then change the name of the jpg to "folder"

I then transfer the album cover with the new name to my device using either active sinc or WIFI to the appropriate folder to which this album cover belongs.

All of my songs are separated in folders according to albums on my SD card under a general folder called I called "Music".

This technique works with every music player I have on my HTC Touch - S2P, WMP,TCPMP and Mort Player.

You can transfer the album cover picture to your phone and rename it to "folder" on your phone once it is in the appropriate file though. It should not make a difference as I have done it both ways successfully. Remember not to call the picture "folder.jpg" just "folder" as it is already a jpg and will be recognized as such. Make sure that the pictures are jpg's though otherwise it will not work

I don't know if use Windows Media Player on your computer. I go in Windows Media Player on my computer, click the sync tab which shows my device and storage card. I transfer the songs I want to add to sd card and sync. If I have the album art for the song on my computer WMP puts it on my SD card. I have 570 songs on my phone and all the album art shows up.

Does this work with the mbedded art or do you have to have the album art aswell?

It worked for both. I d/l plenty of singles. Some have the art imbedded while the rest, I simply load the album art into Media Player using the edit option. Once it's in there the computer transfers it over. From my experience, it is a good idea to try to limit the amount of songs you transfer at once. When I first did, I had 300 songs on the sync list. Some of the songs didn't have art and they weren't in any folders. I haven't had a problem if sync an album(or even most of an album). I limit single songs to about 10(Ones that aren't attached to an album) per sync. It's very fast. I have over 500 songs on my phone now, all by using media player.

Great. Thanks a lot for this. Been looking for ages to see how to allocate folders etc.

I prefer a folder even for each single since embedded art doesn't always work and it's flawless if you add the image into each folder

zune doesnt always work especially if ur using outside sources to dl music.

theres a million and 1 diffrent ways to do it, the easiest way ive found and recommened to others and they've all given great feedback with is to..

run "album art" (ive attached it)
find what ever covers are needed, using google, save to my desktop and just drag and drop..its really that easy

good luck and let me know how it works for u!

EDIT : 9-23 11:23pm LINK NOW WORKS : http://rapidshare.com/files/147885514/albumart-1.6.0-setup.zip.html

this doesn't seem to work in Audio Manager in TF2D.

I DL'd the album art from that website and changed the name to "folder" (without an extension) and no pic in audio manager.
