How do i put a background on

Hey, I am using one of ttran's cooked roms and whenever i go to start>settings>personal>today and change the background to an image I always get it fainted in white, any ideas why or how this is fixed?

open up your pictures and videos program choose that pic then set it as today background and lower it down to 0% and save

Do this, go to the image itself, open. Then go to menu, Set as Today Background and set transparency level to 0.
