Hi all !


Thanks to this program, you'll receive directly on your Diamond some Radios and Tv (I recomand you, to use the wifi and not the 3g, why ? Because I'm not sure that your operator accept the stream in your contract)

I selected the best of the medias.
Unfortunately, some type of links won't run with the version of Windows Media Player on the Diamond, so I couldn't add all of my list of medias, sorry ! :(

When you go to http://www.lafrance.fm you'll see what I mean. It's the same as your application except I always have it on my normal computer. The Dutch version is http://www.nederland.fm

At the bottom you can choose differrent countries. What do you meen with give me some names of media ? I already gave you some in mij first reply....

Hi Calimero68, Sorry but just tried to install and my Diamond with Dutty's V1 wouldn't let it happen, something about bad files or no certificate. I've had this a few times with some really old cabs. Will try again when you have a new version.

That's not a .cab but an exe
You have nothing to install. You put the file in your Internal Storage, t and you launch it. If you have a message to accept the certificate, accept the message. The next time you'll not have this message.

Doesn't matter. As long as you can run it from Internal Storage. It's big enough to hold a big version. But I'd rather have one "Dutch Only". If it's not too much to ask, make 1 big one and several localized versions.

Your app seems like a great idea and the graphics look good!
If your application is XML-based then perhaps you can tell some volunteers the parameters so they can write up the XML for each language for you to help out. I am ready to do English!

I have already a lot of radios.

For the the part "foreign tv", I put a link to the different version of the Media Connect, so you will access to the Dutch, French, Italian and Spaniard TV
At the beginning you'll have an access to Dutch by the French version and vice versa. Then in the future the access will be to all the version.

It's difficult to explain that when you aren't english and a teenager :eek:

At this moment, no you can't add a custom channel.
BUT I can add very quickly your channel. You make me a request by MP, or on this topic and I add it in 5 min. More over, you won't be obliged to donwload a new version, it's automatic !

The English version V1.0 is released :cool:

This version has a lot of radios, but a few television :mad:. I didn't find a good website for the English TV, so if you know an english (and moreover if this TV has a live stream ...), say me its name !

A lot of radios have a live stream, so if you like a radio which isn't in Media Connect, say-me its name, i'll add this radio very quickly.

I hope this version will give pleasure to the english members (and the others:))

Thanks Calimero68, please keep up the good work, there is a site I used a while ago called "beebotron lite" http://beebotron.timeforabrew.com/indexlite.html I think it had something to do with an in house developer, you can get all the BBC radio live streams from there. I haven't used it in a few devices time but as I remember they open in WMP. Hope it is of some use.

Thanks for the link of the website, but the problem of the BBC's radios is: th protocol is rstp:// so only Media player can read this protocol but the most problem is the format of the stream ".ra" that's RealPlayer. So the Diamond can't open these links :mad:. On the PC you can with RealPlaer and VLC.

anyhow point of the post was to say the BBC DO actually have links for WMA too... they're well hidden and hardly ever an option you can select but they're in the html on some pages..

Also for radio I would suggest you add Capital Radio, its the most popular station in London.

For the icon in the programs folder, that my icon :rolleyes: ... To change it that's me who do that in the .cab

Otherwise, for the skin like the tf3d, i'll do a system who we can change the skin.

I'll add the radios this evening, after the Olympic games ceremony :D

TV does work, just a little slow to get a connection, be patient. I sucessfully watch Sky News over HSDPA

I think it would look better with a slightly graduated background rather than a flat one, but still think it's looking great.

The Dutch version have some problems loading the 3rd radio station button (100% NL) the links isn't working. The result is that the whole program screen is mess up.

Also the main program icon isn't 16 mill colors thats why the icon of Media Connect in het startmenu is blurry.

Does anyone else have the extremely slow video problem?

I've installed the Dutch version and whatever TV channel I watch, sound is great but video os real slow, it shows a frame a second it seems and the connection speed is 1200+kbps, so it states in Media Player whilst I'm watching the video.

What's the cause of this stutter?
