Hello,

i just download a new orginal HTC ROM Update for the Touch Diamond.
It is on the HTC-Germany Website in the E-Club

RomVersion: 1.93.407.1 Ger
RomDate: 07/10/08
Radio: 1.00.25.05

I have installed the Update and my Touch Diamond now is realy fast :D

i am also not able to register my phone, becausethe page tells me my phone is not htc branded.

so where can i download the rom and can i still use it?

You are probably a customer of O2 (as I am).
We have to wait, until O2 releases the new Rom Version.
I have read in a different thread, that thay will release a update soon :)

what about the animations in touchflo? are they still there?

I have the T-Mobile MDA Compact IV and I can't even find a place on the T-Mobile website where a potential ROM update would be announced.

Anybody an idea where I would need to look?

Its in fact quite tricky to find software updates for t-mobile phones.

But this is your page:

But you have to be very patient, because even if T-Mobile releases a Rom Update it will take a long time. Until now they have never released a Update for the MDA Touch. Thats why I changed from T-Mobile to O2, I hope they do better...

if you mean the animation if you go thru the "tabs" of Touch-Flo...they are not anymore in the new Rom 1.93...:(

TouchFlo Animation is definitely gone! No menus sliding in anymore. Thats why its faster though :rolleyes:

Edit: just checked the after-sales-service.t-mobile page - this does not even show the AKU3.3 for the charmer (Compact II) which is available from T-Mob since 07/2007! So I would not count on that page being very up to date....
