Installation Instructions:
1. Download, then copy (RightClick and Chose Save As) http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=106448&stc=1&d=1218831852 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=106448&d=1218831852) To A Folder called Cabs on the ROOT of your storage card. If you don't, then no worries it's not needed. But this will give the Favourites Menu your personal Touch.

2. Make Sure you have a new 2.26 USPL (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=408637) flashed to your device before Flashing the Rom, So you don't need to remove SD card while Flashing (as you will miss out on the WMP skin) (Yup out of safety i now recommend the 2.26 version)

3. Flash the Rom.

4. If you want to change the PagePool Check This thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=397938), where work is being done one a new Universal Active Sync PagePool Changer.

A: You can add a back button to submenu's that will bring you back to that menu's Main page.
Swipe Up >> Swipe to Left >> Accessories >> Extra Menu's >> Setup Menu's >> Display >> Untick "Don't Insert Back Button To Generated Sub Menu's"


Q: One little question.. how to regedit , can't find it
A: There is a simple Registry editor Function inside the rom.
Swipe Up >> Swipe to Left >> Browse >> Total Commander >> Press "\" in the Top Right to Return to Device Root >> Click "\\Plugins" >> Click registry.

Q: How do we boost the speaker volume via the registry?
A: You don't, you boost it through WOW HD SRS. Start >> Settings >> System >> WOW HD SRS Settings >> Set To HeadPhones (even if it's for the internal speaker) >> TruBass Tab >> Increase and play with Input Gain & OutPut Gain.


Q: My menus are the same as this up to 'Setup Menus'. Once I get here, there is no 'Personal Menu' option.
A: Swipe Up >>Swipe Left >> Accessories >> Extra Menu's >> Setup Menu's >> Edit Menu's >> MortButton 5 (Personal) >> Set Entries.


Q: Will It Work on my ELFIN/ELF?
A: Yes it will work on both ELF and ELFIN versions of the Touch. It will however Brick your CDMA Voque Phone if you flash it.


Q: How & where to configure long press end key?
A: Advanced config has a setting for this but it's not picking up the tweaks as it should, so i but a script in "Start >> Settings >> System Tab >> Administrative Tools >> KeyPressSettings" (i Found the Script made by someone else Great Thanks however it was again)


Q: How to make the ring volume silent during an incoming call(without accepting the call)? previously i used to move the volume key in either direction during an incoming call to make the ring silent.but it doesnt work here. any other way?
A: Start >> Settings >> System >> Start Up Manager >> Remove Set Volume from start ups. (restart or kill Set Volume)
Set volume is running in the background picking up the default Volume button pres, this might be interfering with the behaviour you are familiar with.


Q: Is there a way to make the screen taps more "lighter"? ~^
A: Start >> Settings >> System >> Administrative Tools >> Advanced Config >> Scroll down to ToucFlo Settings.


Q: Small issue I faced. When I hide "Weather" & "Profile" tabs from HTC Home. After that, the clock on Home was not displayed completely. The last characters of "AM/PM" & "Clock" were shown as out-of-focus. Though the issue got resolved after a soft-reboot.
A: Yes sometimes rotating the screen to landscape and back should also fix this. Maybe it has to do with a registry setting called slideoutrotateangle, but i haven't done tests with this (and may not for a while as it's is not the most nerve wrecking problem.

Q: In the Album Info/Help screen graphics are missing.
A: Yes this is expected behaviour, these files have been removed in favour of performance.

Q: I cannot open the MMS Attachment?
A: You have to Disable Threaded SMS to open MMS the normal way. Go to "Start >> Settings >> System >> Administrative Tools >> Advanced Config >> Scroll Down To Messaging Options >> Set Threaded SMS to Disabled >> Done >> Restart"

Q: What is the recommended Radio To USe With This ROM?

This Rom Uses Gullum's Diamond-isc Keyboard.

The Rom itself only contains the WWE language.

But in the Keyboard settings all languages are allready pre defined.

Buyt they won't just work by changing that setting.

If you want to ad you own language, extra cabs have been made to install these.

Also with Diamond Keyboard installed the default word suggestion for normal Keyboard will be disabled.

There will be settings script to change this in "Start Menu >> Settings >> System >> Administrative Tools >> Word Suggestion Options"
Beware that changing this to Default Keyboard Word Suggestion will give Diamond Keyboard Not work properly.

Also in the Advanced Administrative Tools Folder you will find SIP change to set up the Default Keyboard.

Well This gives the Rom your Personal little Touch.

You can replace the Icon with any 32x32 icon that will then show up as the Icon for the Mort Favourites Menu.

The Mort Script part of Autorun Copies the Files to ROM.

You can see the Default Icon in the screenshot of HTCHome's Programs Tab.

What it also does is copy the WMP skin to your Documents on the SD Card.

This enables WMP to recognize other folders in that directory with different skins for WMP.

It's also security Breach ;)

The only real solution for this is to find a provisioning file that contains your country and copy it to rom overwriting the present one using UC (have to take of the read write file atributes for this).
Because the new Connection setup needs a component only used in Diamond and Pro which basicly isn't worth porting.

If you can find a networkwizard Cab with you settings i can look at it.

I'l be honoust, i have promised to some of my friends that i'm going to be more social the coming months so it's going into the slow burner development.

Working on this has made me a broken man;)

So i'm happy i can enjoy a little of time watch House season 1,2 & 3.

But it didn't stop me from doing one last test.

Works as a Diamond Upgrade Cab but testing now on ELF.

by chance do you have a screen shot of what the texting key pad looks like? i have the blue touch ROM by swift and it has the normal windows 6.1 keyboard and it is close to impossible to text at a fast pace...i watched a kool video on the touch on youtube and it shown a kool looking key board that when the phone was turned sideways the key board took up pretty much the full screen and left a small single line at the top to see what your texting. the keys where big and blue and curved and HUGE lol. So i was just wondering if you did any kind of special key board on the phone?

i got a problem after i flashed the rom when i start windows media player it tells me no skins found i can play music but no buttons :P
one more thing i found the network wizard no need to search if you want i can upload

i got a problem after i flashed the rom when i start windows media player it tells me no skins found i can play music but no buttons :P

Did you have the SD card inserted the first time?

Quick way to get to Tetris is by going to the HTCHome tab, press the Games Icon.

But if you go "Start >> Programs >> Games" there is no shortcut for Tetris.
The fix is very easy to make, but i'm also curious if someone else will make it.

Attach the wizard and i will try to make a UC package for it, but the Provisioning file for the newer Connection setup from Diamond/Pro is incompatible with this wizard because of a different Password on the zip file.

This is the future.

I like that red SPB theme. But also have Guave Something laying around and a WM7 theme to.

Remove the .zip extension and place them on the Root of SD Card (where your Themes Should always be ;)

I don't need Start Menu that much anymore.
The old Enlarged Menu used more Memory but the new one is a bit snappier running as a service.


The Networkwizard is compatible Yay.

Also added very early try out options script for the Font Size.
I'm not that good in Mortscript that i can do multiple Choice yet :mad:

Well when your not on the Home screen it is hard to hit it right but on the home screen it reacts pretty well. (HTC X button is only accesible on Home screen, and it would be extra load if BTStatus is going to be in there to)

And the Hit state of Battery status can also be enlarged.
There's a reg tweak on Chi Tai's Website.

There's always the Mort Menu Taskmanager to.
Press and hold the application you want to kill.

Amazing ROM!! As far as i'm concerned my elf cant get much better than this. The only thing I had wanted to change from your defaults is to add PocketCM for contacts with the touch templates which blend really well with your work. Automatic Means that if you have scheduled apointments set to DNDisturb the Ringer goes To Silent.

There's no advanced Config besides the Presets.

can confirm. ive seen it in the previous versions also. bt it isnt really a problem coz the 'MMS option' is right there below 'send/recieve' but its invisible. so if u tap in the space below send/recieve u will get mms options.

Which Options do you choose during Setup?
(Can't test the settings right no i killed the MSN services on Purpose)
Resetted device, MSN saves contacts, either it is a waiting issue or you chose not to save contacts to your device.

found one more thing chief- there is a script in the administrative tools to restore the SAP settings but its not working actually.howevr the SAP settings is there in the windows folder but there is some language problem in it.

I did see that in the FAQ before I posted but I thought it was only if you couldn't open attachments? I couldn't find the options menu but as Abinbasu pointed out the option is there under send and receive if you click it but it just shows as a blank space though.

After entering the options I have another problem though, under size limit all the options are blank so there is nothing to chose and clicking done doesn’t seem to do anything. Now that could be because I installed version 5.0.13 of the MMS as I did on the last ROM to get it going then uninstalled it to test the invisible menu thing. Don’t know if Abinbasu could confirm if it is a problem or just my build being corrupted by the install of the newer version.

Also I have reinstalled version 5.0.13 as installing this CAB over the top fixes the blank menu entry and lets me set the options without a problem. Also I'm not sure what the Attachment viewing problem is as I can’t get the original version to work but with the newer version installed I still have just the one MMS/SMS box and with threaded SMS enabled I can receive MMS and open their attachments from the threaded message without any issues. I can’t remember where I got the CAB from (posted it last time) but if you want I can upload it. Once you've finished your well deserved break of cause :D

I just flashed the final 6.1 version into my Elf.
Before that I flashed the new 2.28 IPL/SPL.
Changed the PP to 4MB.
And everything is working good !! :)
Just testing some more, but the phone is working faster, also a cold start is working quicker.
Over all, the best ROM I used up till now for my Elf !!! :D

You have to remove the .txt extension.

The real name is "MM_PRS.png"

Don't know why there is a .txt extension at the end.

Sometimes the Forum compresses the PNG files to JPG.

The Network Wizard has an error in the T-Mobile settings, the access point name is wrongly spelled, internet-int and this should be only: internet
(issue solved by installing your NetworkWizard cab from the beta version of this ROM)

Next one, when I set the right softkey to CommManager, then after a reboot it's set to default Contacts again.
(not solved yet)

Last one, when I set the keyboard to standard keyboard, then also after a reboot, keyboard is set to Diamond keyboard again.
(not solved yet)

Never Needed Solving/Not a Rom issue But General HTC Provisioning:
HTC's mistake.
My patched version Not does not let itself be cooked, because it's patched.
Even the last Posted Wizard cab had that wrong setting)
(HTC have now fixed it but Diamond Provosioning file is not compatible on ELF)

Never Needed Solving/Not an Issue:
You have to delete the Fix Softkey fix Autostart item. (Which i put there to fix another issue)
So not broken ;)
Start >> Settings >> System >> StartUpManager >> Delete Softkey fix.
(this is here because Touch roms like to forget sometimes what you set to Right softkey besides Contacts)

Never Needed Solving:
Keyboard.... did you use SIPchange?

Start >> Settings >> System >> Administrative Tools >> SIPCHanger.


Also for a few posts before, you can find the settings to disable Cube or change the long key presses to disable any and all Menu's to you liking.

Now to the results of 3 full days playing with it, tweaking and adjusting menus I can report everything is working fine and fast. 2 small issues: I couldn't flash with the memory card inserted so no special Favorites icon, and Oxio clear memory doesn't work but I never used it anyway. I think I'll keep this Rom at least until you make another version...
One question: is it possible to assign the "up" gesture in Today screen not to show Task mngr but open one of MortButtons menus?

I always try to get information into the thread (When there's time).
But the best is when you trick others into posting the information other people will eventually ask.

And personally i like running the default 8 MB PP on Elf as i don't need a lot of free memory for something like a Navigator.

You will find Advanced config in the Rom and it even has some adviced settings for Cache improvement (but these are more for Kaiser).
So for Elfin you could easily go one settings above that. And for ELF maybe a setting below.

The main question which arises to your question is, what do you mostly do with your Phone?

BTW you can always install your own Splashscreen (as i do)

2. I live at the Belgium / Dutch border, on signal weakening, the dutch provider is lost and it changes to the belgian provider. So far so good, but if I have gprs on, I am paying the connection fee about 100 times a month... and that is not nice :( So I downloaded nogprs and use that whenever I cross the border from Holland to Belgium... But as mentioned earlier I am getting older and besides bad eyesight it also effects my memory... thus I forget to turn it off and pay for the connection fee again... Would it be possible to trigger nogprs to automatically turn off whenever my provider isnt vodafone anymore?

Any hints kindly appreciated!!

The uploaded Kitchen has new Enlarged Start Menu in it.

In the 000_Advanced_UC_AutoRun_UC_&_Mortscript_0409 folder look for the Mortscript installation file called CLASC.mscr

Add a line to the install script.

CreateShortcut("\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Games\Tetris.lnk","\Windows\Tetris.exe")

To put the Tetris link in the regular Program Files.

In the same folder there's a b15f5350-5a9e-11dd-ae16-0800200c9a66.rgu

Look for the lines

found one more thing chief- there is a script in the administrative tools to restore the SAP settings but its not working actually.howevr the SAP settings is there in the windows folder but there is some language problem in it.

Sapp Settings are restored trough the script. But the script dioesn't give feed back of anything happening (default)
I'll add a reset Pop Up to it for the feedback. So it was working.

What's the name of the program that allows you to set the Clock time to internet time? Is there a cab for it?

I have a question, but in good forum practice I will give some knowledge back for others who are in search of it.

* I always modify my PDA. I used to have gizmos like the Atari Portfolio (featured in Terminator II to hack electronic locks, although I did not go that far with it) and a Handspring Visor (featured in Charlie's Angels, which I modified to the max, incl. different case). This time you saved me a lot of work! Until I create my own ROM, of course.

* I got my Elf just a couple of weeks ago. They are cheap here in the Netherlands for just over 200 Euros with KPN simlock, and without KPN sim. Unfortunately the only way to unlock was with NextGen unlocker, cheapest through the LoekieLoekie website.

* Installing the new IPL and USPL was necessary since it had the versions 1 on it. I got stuck with the red-green-blue-white bootloader screens several times, no panic, just read the boards! And it worked out fine.

* Even with the new IPL and USPL I had to remove the 8 GB SD card while flasing. The ROM upgrade times out while the Elf apparently is testing that memory. When the Elf shows the white screen with the progress bar for uploading the ROM, the PC already stopped with an error. This actually caused some panic sweat, the Elf was a gift from my wife, and I thought I wrecked it, but after removing the card the rest of the installation was a breeze! Fortunately somewhere on the forum I found this advice: SDHC cards are problematic when flashing.

* And then I could not call anymore. The Elf was extremely sluggish, while apparently looking for a network. So I got the latest version of the Radio ROM and flashed that on it. Now the whole machine is in optimal shape, quick, nice, beautiful!

* I even had the Diamond Keypad to work with Dutch, just install the CAB for Dutch from Gullum's post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=392197

Now my question. In the RC version of the ROM, in the Windows Media Player (WMP) I had three choices to create a library: My Device, Storage Card, and Network. In this version "Network" is not available. I tried to find the solution, but since "WMP, Library, Network" are very generic search terms, I get lost in a maze of irrelevant answers. Funny is that the Windows Explorer itself does have the Network option as shortcut under "Show". But the WMP only shows "Storage Card". Quite right you removed the "My Device" option from the Library function, since it will only generate a silly archive filled with system sounds. Now, how to get "Network" back. It was so impressive to play my full collection of music within the range of my WiFI. :cool:

But I want it to appear in WMP in the list in the upperleft corner of the screen with "My Device (removed, in this ROM) and Storage Card", as it appeared in the RC version. I could browse through the artists and songs and albums at light speed, click a song or album, select Play, and then the PDA would get the file from the network... Way cool!!!

There's a free SimUNlock Working in the ELF Forum.
(That's how i did it)

Sure, but these people report troubles with certain SIMs. Apparently there are operators who encrypt the SIMlock code on the chip. With the free tools you get the encrypted code back, but you can not use that to unlock. KPN is one of the encryptors...

Aaahh you mean the very first Splash Screen.

No that needs to be cooked, but cooking a custom converted ELF version mostly results in an Ugly Green Gradient unless you use an original Splash SCreen.

IF anyone has a true successfully way of flashing a custom Boot Screen, do share as the Artemis method does not seem to work for the ELF.

Only thing close to what you need is

MoDaCo NoData

Now theoretically it would be possible to write a mortscript that stays in memory and checks for network changes if it detects a change to a network that is not in the list it can then run the MoDaCo NoData tool and the same back.

But I'm not that knowledgeable in the complete Mortscripting area

Try USPL 2.26.

ELF300 is Europese don't know if that also makes it an ELFIN.

But Wiki states ELF300 is P3450 so.

This is related to the setting in Schaps advanced config of the lock on the home screen. When the lock is removed (as is in this rom to allow BatteryStatus to go on top) the scrollbar will go all the way.
When you re-enable the lock, the home screen will go on top. BatteryStatus and your appointments will go below that and have a scrollbar for only that portion.

Gotti74, I have an 8 GB card too, and the problem exists on my machine as well. What I read in other threads is that it has something to do with the crappy programming (memory management) of the WMPlayer. The problem does not exist with f.e. the TCPMP player. The solution is quite simple btw: do a soft-reset and start WMPlayer immediately after your phone reboots. Your songs will play as they should, until you load more stuff on the ELF... ;)

Gotti74, I have an 8 GB card too, and the problem exists on my machine as well. What I read in other threads is that it has something to do with the crappy programming (memory management) of the WMPlayer. The problem does not exist with f.e. the TCPMP player. The solution is quite simple btw: do a soft-reset and start WMPlayer immediately after your phone reboots. Your songs will play as they should, until you load more stuff on the ELF... ;)

Well it could also have to do with the acces time or block transfer to/from SD cards.
At least we can rule out the SPL and shit..

Default is:

I found fiddling with these settings affected how TCPMP performed playing files.

Even though WMP does buffer some into memory there might be a relation to Speed of Acces.reading.

As i'm pretty sure that this skipping happens more on higher Clockspeeds. (at least for me when i used higher clock speeds at 270/286)

So i looked some more at the registry.

and found

"BaseClockFrequency"=dword:1312D00 (=20000000) ;max clock frequency 20 Mhz
So there might also be a relation to Clock speed and SDHC reading.

So i'll start with making a Cab that changes the block size first as the latter might have unforeseen impact as it's a setting i haven't played with ever.

Oke i did some searching and found a known 16e3600 setting which stands for 24 mhz so i'm going to add 14FB180 for 22 mhz to correspond with the 221mhz instead of the default 200 =mhz.

Let's see if my phone or card dies.

Which isn't in the registry by default but maybe the logic to the registry key says it all?

Well i can't take any blame for this.
The Block sizes i have ran without issues and so far the Clock frequency is holding.

This might be nothing, or this might be one of those "mighty brave men marching in to save the world" moments ;)

Any thoughts about the Full Screen Enlarged Title Bar (ported from Touch Pro).

At the moment i can't fulle port it because it probably is missing a few Dependant files. So is it acceptable (Lose it completly, leave it, switch to the old one) Who knows one day all of a sudden i'll get it fully wotking with the proper Lay Out and Graphics, at the moment i have only patched the Font size.

This is related to the setting in Schaps advanced config of the lock on the home screen. When the lock is removed (as is in this rom to allow BatteryStatus to go on top) the scrollbar will go all the way.
When you re-enable the lock, the home screen will go on top. BatteryStatus and your appointments will go below that and have a scrollbar for only that portion.

So the choice is BT on top, or scrollbar for BT and appointments.

Ok made my choice... Had BS all the way down anyway.. For me this thing is my agenda, not only a gadget :D

Well i used to include Today Agenda in My Roms, But it wasn't onBram's ortiginal Programs list (neither was the interace).

Today Agenda allows you to have a scrollbar only for the App itself no matter where you put Battery status.

New 03 and 04 builds seem to also work with threaded SMS and have the missing Menu Item. When the Beta Testers are happy with it (and the font size, enlarged Title Bar and Start Up Sound)
(will Change the Start Up Sound and maybe the Start Up Screen to Personlalized parts just like the Favourite Icon, but it's up for discussion)

That last music playback fix helped with the automatic next song change after 28 secs i had. Hmm ok it only worked like with one song after i installed the cab... So i still had to do a soft reset to fix the problem for a while..

A so you haven't been able to test and give your opinion on the added stuff.

MMS should be fully functional now, Enlarged start menu Enlarged Title bar (In or Out).

Oh and a start up sound! I Love it myself because now i know when the flashing is done.
Did i put back the correct SMS jingle?

Request both, think they can add lot to the user/finger friendly interface

Just did a test with Dutch Keyboard files on SD card for the HTC keyboard..

And it works..

If i'm correct the main reason people want language versions is because of the T9 support (Interface doesn't seem to be the issue)

So i'm testing a Universal solution first for the HTC keybaord then i need to check the regular Keyboard.(i once had a tweak that allowed to save your words to SD to)

As for the Piranhe post.

That's for the enlarged Start menu. I am already using a newer version from the Touch Pro.

The enlarged Titlebar uses two Manilla files that i have also cooked but it doesn't read them.
The Startmenu works fine in QVGA it's the title bar that isn't looking as it should.

Wow! i like! It is a little bright with the green in some points (especially behind the clock).
Will there be a version that leans more to the skin noonski is using for his ROM, the grey with colorful icons?

I downloaded & installed Surface-6.1 dated 09/05/08
- still have problems with MP timing out - changes songs before complete.
- BUT fixed MMS problem with "shogun_cing mms fix if needed". (found in XDA)

Question - What is the latest version? Surface-6.1, SP-04? or RRU-Signed?

Is there a bigger, badder, greater ...etc. ROM available than the 9/05 version?

Anybody encountered problems sending email as apparently there is a bug in WM 6.1 that prevents an email being sent even though the account previously worked when first setup?

Not had chance to try it myself but will when I have the time and see what the outcome is.

Wel if it's going to be Manilla it will be without the Music Tab.
Audio manager just doesn't cut it and finding that out is going to take to much for a quick release.

But Lite is going to be hard with New working Youtube Player. And it will need GoogleMaps to. So decisions decisions.

Maybe you mean the changed timing of the Capture delay that you can adjust with advanced config.

Other then that haven't seen blurred Camera.

I loved Surface but went with Onyx 2.0 Beta 3 because of the GUI.
Let me know when you've squeezed TF2D in and I'm all ears!

really cool rom... probably the best so far... i just have a problem with MMS, I had backed them all up with spbbackup before flashing the rom (i had a pdaviet rom) and now that i've restored everything, i can't open mms attachments, even though i've disabled sms threading.. maybe it has something to do with mms version, (just had the idea because the interface is slightly different when i'm writing a new mms)..

does anyone know how to solve this? thx all

For example if I have MSN running in the back ground then open Opera MSN gets closed. I assume its keeping memory usage low but sometimes I like to leave MSN logged in the back ground while doing other things. I can’t seem to work out what is causing the applications to close. Is it intentional and can I exclude applications?

Well i'm not going to rearange the Rom to be M2D.

A few tests i have made while making a few of the OEMS and cabs from Opal rom to test everything have made a small mess of my kitchen.

I'm planning on finishing up the SP1 version then play on the Wizard Forum.

Both MSN and Opera are mighty Memory Hoggers sometimes..
I haven't made any tweaks to free up memeory specifcly. But what are you Batterystatus Taskmanager setting, tap to close or Tap and hold to close?

(default is Tap and hold to close.)

I have it set to hold to close. The device is either closing them to save memory or they are crashing in the back ground. If I open MSN then tap the X and check task manager it shows it running then if I open opera and check task manager its gone. If I then open MSN again opera closes. It all so happens with other high memory usage applications. Doing things that I would usually get an out of memory error doing I don’t (which is great) but it just seems to be closing everything in the back ground to launch the other app.

MSN is the only app I don’t really want it to do this for. I'm sure something must be monitoring the memory and closing idle apps. I can’t work out what. I tried disabling battery status but it still happens not sure what else would be doing it or what to try.

After some searching I have come across this:
Hkey_Current_USER/Software/HTC/Taskmanager
Enable Autokill change from 1 to 0

MemoryThreshold change from 9437184 to 943718

Which some people have used to solve the issue on other roms. However this ROM isn't using the HTC task manager and adding the key has no effect.

I have tried disabling battery status but the problem still occurs so I think it must be mort's task manager. I can't seem to find any registry keys that would solve it.

Any ideas?

No new Rom for a A While tthe last nightly will become SP1.

There's quite a few guys working on Manilla 2D roms for Elf so that gives me the Room to make a Unique Manilla 2D rom for the Wizard, which i have been wanting to do for a long time and now am committed to as priority.

And hey every Manilla rom on an elf will have a bit of me in there anyway ;)

Manilla sure changes alot.... but i still want my ultra stable and handy dandy Touch Surface :)

Another note (you probably know this almighty mod)... in the Onyx ROM (version 2.2) the video playback for HTC Album is working. (haven't tested it) Can you also try to put this in SP1???? Pretty Please???? With a cherry on top :)

Yeah Sure I love the new Album also the way you can now Select Your Folder from within the interface without a hack.
But the playback happens in Fullscreen PLayer and a another fix, so it's not just the Album that would need to be cooked.
So The video Playback is a bit more complicated.


I'm just about to Flash a Wizard Rom with Manilla Running from Subfolder instead of Windows.
The graphics are inverted from a Zip file in Ext rom through Mort, so windows will be clean.

It won't help the Memory it eats but should make the rom faster in general.

As for Phone Canvas...
For the Time and Love i spent making my own Unique Canvas that will be a no for this Rom, sorry.
