how to tell the preproduction diamond unit from the final production?

I'm about to buy a HTC diamond but heard that there are some preproduction unites are out there n the market. how can i tell the preproduction unit from the final production unit so i can avoid falling into one?

just buy it from a good shop or phone operator

don't think there was that many preproduction phones out there

just be careful with ebay...thats the place where you may get caught out.

Thx for the quick reply liamhere. my pb is that even the mobile shops sells preproduction devices even them selves unaware of it.
good thing is that i don't ebay for this stuff :cool:.

my best chance is 2 search for the sealed package "Unboxed yet".
