Ringtone louder?

is there anyway to make the ringtone louder? on the maximum its too low for me.

you can take the file to the computer and amp the audiofile with an audio editor
but if will make it overstear and sound bad in most cases
as bitrate is always limited to 16bit

Ive asked 05mehmet in the Diamond tech support thread for a solution to this very problem. Unfortunately, his reply (found here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=2483987&postcount=104)) didnt sound too promising :( heres hoping he replies to my folow up soon
