Was wonderin.. Does anyone here Happen to know how to change / modify the start menu icon? thanks alot :D

You have to modify shellres.96.dll for the start menu icon.

what about in wm6.1? i do not have shellres96.dll. i have shellres.dll? is this the same thing? how do i edit this file and what code do i replace?:confused:

Use the reverse tool and replace files you want or use the default file and cook it in to your custom rom.

@ Homer, yo buddy! where can i get that reverse tool? and BTW I`m not cooking a new rom! im just customizing the one im using at the moment :D

And a question , ur signature is confusing???? how are u running Hermes ROM on Atom????. Cause as far as I know even running Atom Exec ROM on Atom is a pain i..... (but only honer285 is the lucky one :D).

I install wisbar advance3 ver 3.2c build1 and wisbar advance desktop ver 1.3.0.5 I have windows vista beta for WM5 by web but I don't know how to replace/copy the file to my mobile device. Maybe someone can help me to teach how to make vista pleazee :confused::confused:

ummm.... not really the right place to ask this kind of support, if you're using genuine app why dont you ask at developer website.

hey hardy! If only I can. sad to say, I`m not successful in changing modifying my start menu icon.. :( i have no time to study how to cook a rom.. as Homer said i have to recook it for it to work.. anyway. somebody here would be more than willing to help you :) ppl here @ xda at good and helpful ppl :D
