Ipaq 612c/614/600 USB2?

I have the Ipaq 612c, its meant to be USB2 according to the HP specs, but none of my programes can trasfer data at USB 2 speeds.

Active sync takes 2min 26seconds, to transfer a 40mb file. Same file on a normal USB flash drive takes 6 seconds!

is there a patch or driver that i'm meant to install?

You Need To Set Active Sync Mode on the phone to Rndis not Serial

[Edit] ok found where the option is, (under USB to PC, in the connections tab)

but the file transfer was almost exactly the same speed (same file, from same PC to the same data store on the ipaq)
