No, but I was on youtube and it did it.. But why do I only have EDGE when im not using any programs? Is it auto configuration or something? What if some one vid calls me on edge then I aint on 3G O_O

you were on youtube on data.
HSPDA only activates when you request data, after which it will switch.
if you aren't on 3G, then you won't be able to receive any video calls; the opposite party will just get a failure msg of some kind.

Cheers! What about software n shit? Msn is just so awesome! Way better than the hacked versions on a hacked iphone and on a Nokia N95! So awesome with voice clips :D! What a shame u cant cam lol... But what shall I get of software? I got TomTom cuss i bought it with the phone, its just awesome! What ells shall I install ?

I have a question, something similar... and before you say it, I know I should really RTFM :)

But, I was trying to browse the web, which is no problem, but it keeps going onto HSDPA, which is fine, but when I'm out and about or at home and there is open WiFi, I want to use that and not have to pay for it on data charges!

Is there a way to tell it to prompt you to use wither WiFi, if available to HSDPA?

Got a data pack at 3, so I pay $14 for the first 100 mbit, and then if i use more than 100 mbit then i pay 14 cent per mb.. when I hit $60 I cant pay more, and then I just got unlimited :D!!! Kinda awesome! And Im paying $80 monthly so why not use that pack =D

10 in 6-7 years. I think its normal in these days. With the diamond i got my fifth in nearly 2 years.

I still love my n95 :D but my girlfriend is using it now^^

Just to add, HSDPA does NOT only activate when you are sending or receiving data. It activates whenever you have a HSDPA signal. For this reason, my Diamond almost always has a H icon and every now and then switches to 3G, even though it's not connected most of the time.

Yes, it does support HSUPA, the reg key to activate it is:
HKLM\Software\HTC\AdvancedNetwork\SupportHSUPA - change to 1

HSDPA = faster download, HSUPA = faster upload

HSUPA is for faster uploading, not sure of what the speed is exactly, but it does provide a fairly large benefit. Bear in mind, most carriers that count the amount of data will use count both uploads and downloads as one.
