Artemis ball button failure

Hello

I did search the forums but with no success.

Ball button stopped working. Device still recognizes ball movements but pressing the ball doesn't seem to make any effect since yesterday.

Tried resetting device but no luck. To me it seems that microswitch may have been damaged.

Has anyone encountered this problem ? Should I return the device to Tmobile under warranty or is there another way to deal with it ? I also reflashed os to wm6 couple months ago. Is this breach of any warranty conditions ?

The ball button no longer works on my Orbit. I had put it down to using the latest B&B ROM, but it could well be hardware failure. I don't really want to downgrade to a WM 5.0 based ROM to find out.

ZUCCSTER - My unit was supplied with Wm6 so I know the track ball works with that OS.

PROHIBEAT - You may be lucky enough that they ignore or do not identify the change in your flashed ROM but to my understand flashing the ROM does void the warranty. I'd say it's still worth a try in getting them to look at it if no one else comes up with options.
