Don't reset it, its going to take a long time to delete all those messages..

Just set it and forget it :)

Unless...you wanted to use a program like Dashwire. I don't know much about it yet, but I believe you can use it to manipulate, handle, etc. a LOT of your features from your Dash on your PC. You may be able to delete those pesky thousands of texts with it. Just a suggestion. :)

Why did you do a hard reset? Couldn't you just do a soft reset or pull the battery? And maybe I'm crazy but I thought a hard reset was more or less the same as reflashing and cleared everything unless they were stored on your storage card. When I do a hard reset, I lose all my data, programs, registry mods, etc. and have to start completely new. If they are on your storage card, stick it in your pc and clear it.

you are right...Show.
I think he is just confused between the two differences.
Or just delete one contact at a time?
remember....how many text messages per person you have with how many peoples messages plus yours, adds up to?

If they are grouped, my suggestion is to delete one contacts messages at a time.
