I have a carstereo with A2DP bluetooth built in as well as handsfree over bluetooth. On my old Sony Erricsson K810I it works everytime. However when i connect my TD via bluetooth, its a lucky guess if it will connect, Sometimes it does, and sometimes it dosent. And for some weird reason it keeps disconnecting from the Car stereo, just to reconnect again.. perhaps with A2DP perhaps not.
Its been bugging me for some time now, and i am planning to hardwire the TD up with my car reciever by cable. However this shouldt be the way to do it.
Any suggestions or fixes? i have paired the carstereo and the TD, the carstereo being a pioneer KD-AVX33
Please give me a solution before i get all grey hairs hehe
Kind regards

Although I don't have your car stereo, I can maybe give some general help. If you haven't already, try to delete the pairings on BOTH devices and then try to initiate pairing from the phone OR car stereo. I have made the experience, that sometimes the connection is more stable when you initiate the pairing from one rather than the other. Also try code 0000 rather than think of one yourself. BTW. no problems with my Sony BT5000 car stereo ;-) (although it has some other drawbacks, that really suck)

Thanks for the help, however thats all been tried i used to pair up using 0000, but now i have begun trying alternatives. And ive tried initiatint the contact from both phone and carstereo.
it worked like a charm on my SE k810i - and seeks amazing that it wont work like its supposed to on the king of phones "The Diamond"

Try this one, it has worked on previous tries with other PDA's and Pioneer head. I don't have a problem since I changed to a JVC head, it takes everything.
I also found the registry tweak you mention change "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Bluetooth\SY S\COD into x52020C (Hex) or 5374476 in Dec"

Didnt work, and well :) The AVX33 is a JVC headunit

But that registry twek had no effect, kept on connecting, and disconnecting..
Other ideas are welcome.

I have an alpine unit in my car. I could not get my TD to bring up my phone book. I did all the suggested fixes and nothing worked. Someone mentioned to me Jetware, tried it and it works perfect!!!!!!...try it. 30 day trial. Maybe this works for you.
cheers

Have you tried schaps adv. config. it has some bluetooth tweaks that may help, like disabling obex and increasing the maximum and minimum bitpool to 100 and 50 respectively also try using joint stereo, but none of this may help, give it a try!

Have you selected special device in your heads list when you have been pairing? I've seen this behaviour when there's no possibility to select special device.
