No go after power off?

My wizard does not start anymore after I shut down th epower yesterday.

Any hints?

Can it be my battery is dead? Does it not start on USB power if battery is dead?

yes your battery may be dead. your device wont charge from usb cable if os is not loaded. Only wall charger can provide power when phone is off.
