My daily system in my laptop is Ubuntu 8.04. Under the original AT&T Cingular 3125 wm5 Rom, I can connected my Cingular 3125 to my laptop XP system as a USB modem. Of course, I also can use Activesync to synchronize the contacts and email between wm5 and XP. However, after I flashed the rom to wm6 I can't make my 3125 as a modem anymore.

Now I read two threads about the connection of Hermes and Linux.

It is really cool. I just wonder whether I can connect my wm6 StarTrek to Ubuntu Linux?

Thanks for your reference. But I don't have bluetooth connection in my computer, I can only use the USB cord.

resolved as a USB Ethernet card.
