I am following the process here: http://modmydiamond.info

1. I downloaded the Hard-SPL (what does SPL stand for?) Hard-SPL 1.40 Olinex SIGNED. But when I installed it, it said 1.30. I used Hard-SPL-Diamond-OliNex.zip on that thread. Is that the right one? Why did it show 1.30 rather than 1.40 as shown on the modmydiamond site? What did I do wrong?

2. The radio upgrade section failed. It got stuck at 0% and then timed out. So I had to take the battery out and reboot.

Can someone advise me where I am going wrong?

Thanks,

Jon

If you download a hardSPL from this site and install this you shouldn't have a problem.......

I did this and had no problems at all.

I see the problem now.

"Do not proceed to flash your Radio without Hard-SPL on your device! You can follow the guide here for more info. Currently, there are no signed Radio ROMs so you must have unsigned Hard-SPL to flash one (at your own risk!)"

No wonder it didn't flash. I presume I can skip flashing the radio?
