lost home screen

hello after downloading kavana 6.1 rom i had a home screen that i liked it was a sliding pane but i then downloaded a weather app and the screen i do not like ,can any one tell me hoe to get the home screen back,,i would also like to deleate weather app as well ,i have removed all the weather app i can see but it is still there many thanks

Settings\Home Screen Choose Sliding Panels, remove programs with Settings Remove Programs. :D
