Hello all,

i have been looking for a way to set my todat theme to a TSK file that is not located in the //windows , //My documenst folder or the root of a storage card. There are already a few programs out there that can do this (like mortscript and ShantzTodayChanger) but i just wanted a simple program that displays a browse dialog and lets me just select a TSK file to set as the today theme.

So i just made my own, i'm posting it here just in case someone else wants something like this.

Update 20080908
almost figured out how to preview the TSK, it's not perfect yet, there are still unsupported TSK files, but it already looks quite good...

usage:
just copy to your device ands start the program.
Select a TSK file (does not matter where the location is).
Click apply and you are all set :)

Some TSK files are a bit "stubborn" they do not set the colors correctly. Check "Force refresh" to also set the Colors of the theme. I have tested it and it works without problems, but there is some brute force involved here so please use at your own risk.
Also, if you see the "No preview available" message it does not mean that the TSK cannnot be used by the program, it just means that the program was unable to preview the TSK.

If you could do that, you'd be the man. That's exactly what I'm looking for. Thanks for the app, I'll test it out later.

The ability to preview will be a big plus, and a program icon perhaps? ;)

Updated first thread, the program now displays a preview of the TSK, if possible.

But how do you GENERATE a tsk file? I have tweeked about 50-80 interface color elements, from text to scrollbars, but i have no idea how to preserve it as a theme (tsk). I used "UITweeker" to achieve my themed look of all those interface elements, but i've never been able to get its own export theme function to work....

That is a good question, there are programs out there that can generate a tsk , but i don't really know of a program that can generate a tsk file based on the current theme settings of the device. But i don't really use these programs, i mainly use premade tsk files.
