Trying to switch from Kavana to Ricky & Active Sync disconnects

Trying to switch from Kavana to Ricky & Active Sync disconnects. Each time when the phone goes white, activesync disconnects and unable to continue the rom install.

*Edit* When I try to soft reset (left and right soft keys) and the dos looking screen shows up, active sync is disabled.

When I try to enter bootloader (rainbow screen) active sync is also disabled.

Any ideas are appreciated.
