No more cabs and registry editing!
I've made a small .netcf app that can change system font for those you like.
Just copy your favorite fonts to a folder placed in the root and run ppcChangeFonts. No install required.
Requires: .NETCF 2.0

Any chance you could include a few of the more popular ones like the one from the MDA wizard slim builds (I forget the name) by default? Thanks for the great job!

Hi

Yes there is. It will restore to original factory's fonts. No registry changes.
Btw, probably you'll get a fail-and-retry message while changing original fonts. If so you must retry the first time and then cancel the second. It will prompt to soft-reset. After that you get your wm with new fonts.
All suggestions to make it better are always welcome!

This is awesome was getting board with my font.
It even changed my cube fonts and audio manager.
I put file the file in my documents on my ppc,
then took the font files I wanted off of windows and put them on SD card, this program finds them on the sd card.
Great job!!! Thank You.

On a standard Touch GSM. Did as you said and accepted then cancelled both font changes but I get some fonts changing to Comic but the system font goes to Courier (start, explorer lists etc.)
Seems that 3rd party apps change fine.
Any ideas if it's a reg change as well?

Excellent app, I just have one problem.
When I change font all is fine except in PIE and Opera. *Most* website fonts just display as boxes. Its like it cant find the correct font to use?
I've had the same problem with both SergeUI and Calbria.
Any Idea's.

Very useful program.
Made a .cab for it.

Hmmm. I tried to change the font to Verdana. I was prompted with a message box saying it failed and if I should retry or abort. I chose abort and then was prompted with another message box to soft reset the device. I chose OK, after soft reset, the font was changed to verdana. Maybe an error handling issue?

I can run the program, but it won't find any font files... I have an Omnia with WM6.1, I put the .exe in MyStorage/ProgramFiles and the fonts in MyStorage/Fonts. When I run the program nothing shows up in the list of fonts, no matter where I put them. Any ideas?

Exactly the same thing with my WM5 gSmart i128. Despite the failed msg box, the font is changed correctly after soft reset
