Im Using Imate Jamin (g4) And I Wanted To Upgrade To Wm6.1, While Running The Hard Spl My Phone Turns To White Screen.. And Active Sync Doesnt Recognise My Phone Any More... Pls Help Me Guys.. :(

THere are many posts like this.

Did u do your reading before flashing?:) Are you using Vista, if so get on a computor running XP, u cannot flash with vista.

Did you unplugg all ur usb devices and any other connection software? Try also other usb ports. I had to try 3 of my 4 before flashing worked for me.

Please read the wiki and search the forums tho, there are many good guides out there like this one attached (apols for zip file, i had saved the web page for use ages ago)

You also dont say what ur IPL/SPL numbers are so its difficult to help, you should list the steps when posting if you need help:D

Hi, I had similar problem even after repeated tries. What I did to get around it was:
1) Run the HardSPL (from Prophet tools or from RUU).
2) Check "I understand the caution..." and click next to get to 2nd screen (see attachment) on RUU where it gives you the 4 things to check before proceeding (here your Prophet must be entering the white screen).
3) Leave the RUU on the 2nd screen on the computer and disconnect Prophet after white screen gets stuck and activesync disconnects).
4) Reboot Prophet.
5) Reconnect Prophet and wait for activesync connection to be established.
6) Now on the computer check "I completed the steps indicated above" and click on next.
Hopefully this should go ahead and HardSPPL your Prophet.

Hey,same problem here...but you probably got rid of the prophet already...well hope it helps someone else :D
thank God i had surfed to other sites and found this HARD SPL utility.
Its in "wm6 Update_Package" ...might as well be from here..
(dont know who made it-i`ve been downloading so much stuff lately from the web :) no offence )
