TomTom info - first you must set your tomtom after settings pleasedo a softreset on the diamond NO HARDRESET
after that you can use you navigation

Flashen 2 ways

1 - unpack to a new folder and start DiamonCustomRUU.exe (flashen about 10 minutes)
or
2 - drag DIAMIMG.NBH to the root of you diamond and hold volume down pressed with the arrow to the left and press the reset button. U get a menu and press on/off switch to flash (about few minutes (its faster flashing)).

hello thank you for using my rom i try to answer your question

1) Gsen - The first icon gsen is to start gsen if you are in programma's or instellingen and you turn your device 90 degrees then your screen will turn also, sometimes it`s very annoying so you can turn it off with the second icon gsen toggle, gsen toggle was not included with the original 1.7 i have put in myself

2) Manila TouchFlo3D - i have two version black and color if people wanna change it then they must turn off TF3D at home than they can change the looks by installing the cab and turn back on TF3D also if i put to many cabs for install your device takes 2 days to install all the cabs :D

maybe in the future also some times there will be a lite version so the people can plugin there own utils. i hope i`ve answer your questions

With a normal tomtom installation you get a folder called Navigator. Move this folder under program files or under programma bestanden and start tomtom home. You choose for the first memory option (not the 4gb) and then you get an error. Go back and now you can update or add stuff.

Hi a few days ago i have put on rom 2.6 and now there is already a 2.7.
what is the change log?

And altough 2.6 is a nice rom, i found some problems with active sync, the first few times it worked ok. but after pulling the cable in and out. (with stops of 5 min) the TD still asked what to do (memory/active sync) but what ever i choose, it did't connect again with my pc. you dont even here that ping on the pc when you connect somthing to usb.

And strange part of this al isn't just that, when i try to go to explorer on the TD I cant go to Internal storage, even the songs on the touchflo3d player did't work because they were on internal storage. (and that whas when i unplugged the cable, i think, damn i am not sure any more :confused::(:p)

note: a soft reset solved all, butt it is still strange

and, the second problem: I was in a bit of a hurry, i did't no exactly what i did, but i think i just got my phone out my pocket, becauce i wanted to know what the time was, and the screen was al grey, (zoiets als sneeuw op de tv maar dan grijzer.)

again, a restart solved it, but still ....

but still..the rom is nice :D

:( Bug: Cann't change the settings for Phone. I would like the phone to vibrite and ring, but it always switch back to ring. This is also with the settings for SMS settings.

I'll switch over to the full Black v2.7 and see if there is also a bug.

sorry your right my mistake 1 advanced config updated 3.0, taskmanager from schaps the wallpaper indeed also the os 2.6 has a older os
but keep 2.6 because 2.7 had minor bugs

bugs notice:
Comm background is ugly
asynckiller not stable
start animation not working only shows when you turn off
i must change tomtom so its compatible with tomtomhome
SpbBackup2 has a bug

but the new os is great also my tomtom working too fast i had a fix with cold start and without quickgps in just 2 seconds maybe i had lucky :D

Is it with this NL rom possible to reflash with a original NL rom (if problems should occur), or do you have to use a NL wwe (whatever it means) rom if you want to keep the option to flash to the original rom?

the reason you have trouble with igo 8 is you had a wrong version.
i had a version that works great no problems at all but it depents who had made it.
but i had clear my interne storage but forgot to make a backup :D
so believe me igo cause the problem not the rom

about the 2.7 lite version it has a few bugs thats why i had make a 2.8 al bugs are fixed so tonight i make a new lite version.

strange!! I re-loaded the ROM and when I press the end button (just for good order's sake, the RIGHT hand button) for 3 seconds and then release it, the screen flickers for a very short period, comes back on and the device is not locked...

Skippy, it's weird: I am synchronising my email with an exchange server in the office. Works great. To be able to do so, it's required to have a system pincode on the phone. When the phone starts, it asks you for the code. Well, I had NOT set up the mail account when I had just loaded your latest ROM. I tried to lock the phone with the longpress end key and voila, it worked. Then, after setting up the account and the pincode, it doesn't work anymore. Could you perhaps test that? Adding a pincode to the phone and then see if the long press end key - lock works?

Can't say if it's also applying to this ROM. But Gsen is known to slow down the device on some ROM's. Might wanna try that out.

Als, have a look at your running programs when the slow down occurs.

about the rom do you have download the latest rom the one after the update on 24-08 that must be stable, i had till now no problems.
there`s a benmark on this forum there you can read the quality of the rom.

igo is a program that`s really difficult, i had a version there where no problems at all. now i use tomtom because my work every day and the hole day and it never fail me. and about the tweak there are 3 tweaks in instellingen u can use if the speed is not right.

so if there are any problems please tell me or go to my site and put your question there i try to answer your questions.

Hardstikke tof dat de rom goed werkt,
zulke nieuws hoor ik graag en als er iets zal wezen wat niet goed is
dan hoor ik het graag.

De lite versie zal eigenlijk iets sneller moeten lopen omdat ie minder programma`s hoef teladen.
Dus let wel op lite versies zijn meestal wel erg kaal.
De voordelen daarvan zijn meestal dat mensen zelf hun programma`s kunnen toevoegen en sommige hebben al die extra`s niet nodig.
Het is eigenlijk raadzaam om tekijken wat erin zit en afvragen welke versie voldoet aan jouw voorkeuren, gebruik je al die extra`s.

Ik ben op dit ogenblik bezig met het bouwen van versie 3.0 en die zal uitgebracht worden in NLD en WWE ook zal waarschijnlijk een Lite uit komen.
Maar dat zal nog wel even duren, wanneer deze roms uitkomt durf ik nog niet tezeggen.

Ik hoop dat je vraag is beantwoord en anders hoor ik het wel.

10. is ringing volume louder in this rom? or which app does that? searched alot for regtweaks and apps but couldnt find any workin...

The ROM looks great.

I am still looking for a real lite version in Dutch which does not include the java and office stuff.
I tried to make my own ROM but almost bricked my phone so i stay well clear of making my own now :)

So if you could make a real lite version ( if office and java are goes to saves so much space ) i gladly will use it.

so thats a BIG list

first of all you must read carefully everyting you do, when you flash you lose your warrenty. all the things you do, you are doing at you own risk.

1.) no i`m not the only one there are 2 more surface_Rom and Bram_Smulders but they are building a rom together now.
2.) the batterylife must by a lot better than the original rom
3.) but how much?? that`s on you with program`s you use.
4.) you don`t have to flash your radio but sometimes its better you do.
5.) on http://diamond.skippycentraal.nl you can read a dutch version to flash your HardSPL.
6.) I do not know when it`s coming out yet (maybe about a month ???)
i shall say keep tuned :)
7.) different between black and colour it`s only the manila looks
8.) you must have HardSPL installed
9.) it should be compatible but i tell you again it`s all at your own risk.
10.) the ringtone louder you can set by the tweaks that build in.
there are 3 tweaks utils in it.
11.) there are no bugs known bug yet but you can read the comment on this topic.
12.) nop only when we write behind uninstallable those can me removed
13.) i don`t know

so i hope it answers a littlebit your questions, but PLEASE read carefully
before you do anything if you do something wrong it can brick you phone.
it counts for all the roms you can find here on XDA.

on the top of the screen there's also that tiny row with the red yellow and green.. what is this exactly? can this also be removed? or is this that battery thing?

I installed your first cooked rom, but it kinda didn't work for me. Random freezes and laggy.. But v2.8 was a very big improvement. Now installing v3..

Few suggestions:
Implement a registry editor like PHM RegEdit.. I use it, it's nice..
Implement a real taskmanager like FDCSoft Taskmanager. It shows all the running processes..
Keep splash and bootscreen default. Everyone changes it to their own liking anyway (although I prefer the standard htc and wm6.1 logo's)

Congratz with this new release and above all... Thank you for your time and input! I hope to see more of your releases.. (hint: custom touchflo :p)

yes your right asynckiller is removed it works for few minutes but then it is unstable.
there will be trouble with active sync and the diamond reakt strange so when i removed activekiller i had no problems when there`s a new way to fix it then it shall be build in but for now :(

I used this:

Here goes:
1) Open Active Sync
2) Click on "Menu" and select "Configure Server..."
3) Enter false info in the server address / user name / other details
4) Click on "Menu" and select "Schedule..."
5) In BOTH drop-down menus select "Manually"
6) Click on "ok" and then close Active Sync.
7) Make sure Active Sync is closed and see if it comes back to life.

Active Sync shouldn't re-open any more, since you've just configured it NOT to connect to the internet automatically / periodically any longer.

After you verify that Active Sync didn't re-open itself - you may then go back and delete the "false" server you entered before. You may do so by:
1) Click on Menu and select "Oprions..."
2) Hilight "Microsoft Exchange" and click on "Delete"
3) Click "Yes" to confirm deleting this server

That's it...

Wow this rom looks fantastisch :)

Only problem i am having with the 1.93 rom is that i can't send text messages with it, so i had to downgrade back to 1.37 and now it works fine again. I will go to my Telfort shop tomorrow again after i reinstalled the official 1.93 again. So let's hope they can help me, looks like a sim compatibility problem, cause my prepaid sim works fine with it. After i solved the problem i will surely try this one again. Great work!

i think i found a bug
when someone calls me and i lower the volume with the side volume keys , a war errupts between the volume programs and the dialer program
after disregarding a call the screen stays stuck on the answer/dismiss screen

also there seem to be 2 volume change programs
one with a really nice green color and one that has both systrenm and ringtone volume on the same screen

just have someone call you and then change volume
i also have s2u2 1.22 installed

ive also notices that this rom is a bit power hungry, or a bit more then dutty 1.9 wich i had flashed on earlier, cant say for sure as i dont know how to measure power consumption, but to me at least it APPEARS to drain power slightly faster then before

do you have tryed with bootloader
set your device in bootloader and try RUU again.

If the bootloader is the RGB screen, than yes. It get's stuck even earlierer at the "verifying the information on your pda phone" screen.

your right its intergrated, you can find opera in the windows folder you can create a shortcut from there and about to watch video on youtube it`s not yet possible i`m building 3.1 and it should work in that version

1) dat kan je verhelpen dat is geen bug naast het toetsenbord in de balk is een klein pijltje klik op het pijltje en kies de tweede regel daar staat als goed is nederlands klik daarop en kies engels dan heb je wel 3xo/p een . jouw toetsenbord op je pc staat als goed is ook op engels verenigde staten(international) zo werkt deze ook

I run the 3.0 for 5 days now ,and its stabile and faster than the 2.8.
but i'm running out of memory now.
i'll flashing back to 2.8 till 3.1 comes out
the 2.8 feels better to me (more free memory left)

When connecting via WiFi my access point suddenly hangs.
At first I can work normally (sometimes connecting during 1 or 2 days), then the access point hangs. Resetting the access point is the only remedy.

By the way: This only happens at home, on my work I have no problems.

the sim lock is no problem but the CID lock will give you problems you must first remove the CID lock and you will be free to flash anything. and yes ther will by much improvement:D

I use this for my work and i never had problems i use radio .08 that have much better GPS.

Great ROM but I found a problem (maybe) all the menu texts are small. The start menu has big fonts but if I go to for example Google Maps and choose menu the font size is small...is there an easy fix for this or is it by design?

hi the problem is strange because i have no problem i use the TT7 for work and the fix is very fast. i use radio .08.
Maybe if you tryed the radio .08 at our site because this one must have a better GPS and longer battery life.

thats strange i have downloaded the rom from my own site and with TT7 version the opera works fine its very fast.

please try to test it with a clean rom so you know if the problem on the rom or something else.

hi the problem is strange because i have no problem i use the TT7 for work and the fix is very fast. i use radio .08.
Maybe if you tryed the radio .08 at our site because this one must have a better GPS and longer battery life.

First of all my compliments for the good job you do! (helemaal toppie).

I changed my Radio to your version. Nevertheless TT keeps saying: NO GPS APPARAAT. Whatever version I use of whatever which GPS mouse or option I choose. Well...maybe it is my problem but whenever you see the light for my problem: Let me know!
