Orbit 2 users ... microlinks on the bottom of Today

Hello,

I guess another newbie question ... how do I get rid of the battery icon from the line on the bottom of the today screen.

Also if possible how can I switch of the whole application, since I see the battery status at the bar next to start anyway.

I can't remember exactly off the top of my head - its been so long since I did this.
Have a look in windows\startup\
There should be a link to something with O2 and task or tsk in the name.
delete the link or rename it to <name>.old instead of <name>.lnk

if this doesn't sort it, use the search forum function for O2 and taskbar. I remember there being a fairly simple solution somewhere in the threads.

Not sure which I cons you mean but when I had a simialra issue I deleted this entry in the registry.

Location: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/ Software/ HTC/ Trayapplet

Then I removed the O2 icon from Startup and sorted.
