Cooking a clean ROM

Hallo,

How can i please remove following apps Safely from the OEM and SYS when cooking? as i read there must be a setup file that must be edited and not only deleting them from OEM folder.

Apps to be removed:

- Manila
- Opera
- Googlemap
- First steps
- Help
- MP3 trimmer
- Streaming media
- Windows Live
- Windows update
- Error report
- User feedback

Please help

regarding the Opera, you'll have to edit out config APs in the OEM folder.

aha .. so you just delete the line?
- CAB: \WINDOWS\WM6_PPC_HTC_Opera9_SV.CAB

I guess its the same for GoogleMaps then?
- CAB: \WINDOWS\GoogleMaps-2.0.1.33-ms-htc-compress.cab

How do we add application into the rom. I use package creator to create the application and put into OEM. It's work but the I dont see the shortcut in the "programs". Do you know how to get th shortcut. THX

r u renaming ur extracted package as PACKAGE_Diamond_abcdef?

where abcdef= ur application name for example TomTom

I did. But after the rom installed I cannot see the shortcut in the "Programs".

Or did I do something wrong with the package creator. Would you mind give me tutorial for package creator step by step.
