never recieve text messages from websites

ok basically when I input my number on a website and they send me a activation code or test my phone to see if I get their text messages I never get it. The only website that is successful is yahoo but the other ones I'm not especially google or myspace. I tryed it on a wing and on a different phone and no luck I called tmobile and they were no help either. I even changed my number and still no luck. Anyone can help me out please.

what is the phone number that yahoo sent it to?

operators will sometimes disable short codes (or something like that) to prevent spam and stuff, and i'm pretty sure tmobile does that.
