Tilt users with AT&T wireless prepaid, get these annoying pop up notifications, when calling/texting or receiving calls/texts that update the user with their new balance. The popup also activates an audio alert that cannot be disabled thru sounds and notifications settings nor any existing "Tweak" applications (unless your phone is in silent mode). I did some experimenting the other day and while I didn't disable the visual popup alert, I was able to disable the audio alert. First I went into Settings/Sounds and Notifications and changed any instance of an event using the tone notify.wav to something else. Then, using Registry Workshop (or you can use any registry editor) I searched the registry for notify.wav and changed any entry to *none* (with the asterix). I backed up my registry before any edits, just in case.
