Dunno, if this post belongs here, but couldnt find any spot to post. Mods may move this post.
So my problem is having a english language on my KS20
i have read almost every topic on this forum and googled a lot before i dare to bother u.
I bought my phone in Hong Kong with chinese software on it. Stupid, coz i thought i could switch it to english and read chinese at same time. NO
I read here, that i could reflash my gsm with an english rom. I tried the steps but didnt work.
My GSM:
WM6 OS 5.2.1630
ROM: v10b
Traditional Chinese
Problems:
1. At the Diag Setting: it says only "Ship" OS Image..
What can i do?
2. Got my phone connected to pc with LGMDP_1_1_.5_Build_12.11_Release, it shows the right phone name and "Enabled", but when i press download to backup my nv2. It goes in time out, each time at different time of saving.
3. tried to flash my phone in normal modus, and ofcourse after the failure of nv2 backup, it says checking connections and the seconds start running. I have waited for 5000s and still nothing.
Only a soft reset can bring back my phone and i am back where i started.
4. wanted to direct flash it in emergency mode.. but pc doesnt recognize the connectionport anymore.
So how can i flash my rom decently? can u plz make a more detailed how to? coz i really dun get it
a really step by step guide would help this noobie out..
