Hi, I installed few days ago Ubuntu 8.04 to give a try to the linux world.

I like it, but when I plug the usb with my Orbit2 (Udk Diamond R6) Ubuntu didn't recognize nothing :(

Otherwise with Vista I have got no problem at all.

I must use a specific program??

Thanks,
Lorenzo

plugin in the usb, after that start a console an input "dmesg"....now there must be at the end something like sda1 or sdb1 or sdc1...be sure you are root...input now "mount /dev/sda1 /media/whatyouwant".....now you can go into the folder /media/whatyouwant and you will find your device.....but normaly ubuntu find your device by it self....

Damn, I though you meant running Ubuntu _on_ the Polaris. That would have been something :) I'm really looking forward to the Android, if that's ever portet sucessfully. By god I already run Linux on my first generation iPod Nano and my 6 year old Dell Axim. How hard can it be to port linux to the Polaris as well :)
