German, French & Nordic i780 ROMs Wanted

For those of you that happen to have any of the ROMs for i780 in German, French & Nordic, please tell me where to download them from.

I have searched some links and unfortunately the download itself id dead.

Sure the links work.

However:
a) it is ONLY the german rom (no french, no nordic ones)
b) even the german one is NOT complete (missing Dial-up connections)

Since i am also looking for a complete german rom, it would be very nice for someone to post a link to it.

I use your cooked rom V3.3XG (it was great) , but i can't modify the keyboard setting to azerty with kitchen ( i'll tried to replace the conshid.dll and zylonite_keypad_Us.dll with french version )

the provided .aek file is for QWERTZ keyboards, but it is easy to adapt it to other keyboards, as you just have to configure the AEK file in the format:

Key 0001 0002

where 0001 is the key you press and 0002 is the key it should send. in the example QWERTZ file i attached i replaced y with z and shift + Y with Z and shift + z with Y.

see the "simple" example provided with AEKMap.

code for replacing z/y Z/Y:

Key 0059 c007A
Key 005A c0079
Key 0159 c005A
Key 015A c0059


0059 is the Y key on the keyboard and c007a is the unicode character z
0159 is the Y key + SHIFT (00 = key alone, 01 = key+shift) and c005a is the character Z

it is similar for the Z key (005A)

Yeah, thanks bommel! This method mostly works.

But for example when you input a new entry in "tasks" and the cursor is not there, you won't get Umlauts. But i can live with that.

i am not sure what you mean.
the method to get an umlaut is the same with all roms. the order of the ulauts is different, as they are sorted like they are used most often.
the sym file i posted just has the same order like the original german rom.

so if it doesnt work now, it wont work with an original rom.

oh, and i have no problem with tasks and umlauts, but i use agenda one :)
