yeh it works now.
the only missing in this rom is the Diamond Keyboard. I install the diamond keyboard CAB file but when i try to change the keypad to the diamond it wont let me. Always default to the windows one, which is useless. any ideas will help thanks or can you add this in your next version???
this is the fastest and most response rom i have tested, even the TOMTOM MAPS are quick and responsive.

Tested both the Greek and WWE versions, results are very good (the best of all!). Congratz.

I have some small issues using your WWE version:
- My bluetooth is not always stabile: TomTom GPS doesn't always start, can't find the carkit always.
- When connecting to USB, I don't get the popup screen to choose between AcviceSync and Disk Drive.
- I miss the HTC keyboards, the default keyboard really is too small...
- Have register for the calculator, I just want the default calculator.

Although Bepe's ROMs are fast and have big memory I had some issues with his latest 0.99's.

This Swtos ROM v0.91 WWE also has big memory, 147 Storage/126 free and 126 Programs/76 free! That's a lot. And it's fastttttt! according to my benchmarks SBP and VS. But I had some minor issues with it too, see a previous post. And it doesn't have the HTC keyboards.

But now there's v0.95, with the HTC keyboard! And hopefully without issues (?). So why don't you give that a try?

One issue with the HTC keyboards: the font is thin in stead of bold (looks like Time Roman). For me not so nice.


EDIT1: After a hardreset my keyboard is back to normal. Don't know what I did the first time to make the font change.

EDIT2: Swtot, where is TEETERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR RR. Everybody wants Teeter (to show off).

I found a bug in my sound settings: when I go to Settings, Personal, Sounds&Notifications and then go to the second tab, Notifications, then I can't close the screen anymore. Only when I go to the second tab, when I stay in the first tab I can close it like it should.

The same in the Phone settings: go to the Phone menu, choose Menu, the first tab is Sounds. After opening I can't close it anymore...

Can anyone confirm this on his/her device?

I remember this is an old problem, on my TyTn and TyTnII it now and then occurred in a coocked ROM.

it doesn't matter if its better, its what we want, are used to and are comfortable with. there are like 100 options in wktask, alot useless to some users. some people only need what htc task provides.

Just to have a pretty naked release, but ever with this amazing animated manila, can you put-out (from your future 0.95 fixed version) something like "rotate", "reset" and similar and put in "teeter" that's, maybe, not very usefull but cool for sure?! :D
IMHO it's not very useful also HTC_audiomanager (I'm using S"P to listen music) but it's just another (personal) story :p

But what I think will be very important in your fixed release is: UPGRADE IT WITH THE UC CAPABLE FEATURE...it would be very appreciated by a lot of us I think..;)

I think the app's name is SIP_app.exe or something like that. Is this because of the presence of EZimput and maybe, is it possible to substitue it with some other lighter app? If I downgrade to 0.9 version and putin resco keyboard (i.e.) can I save my precious 2mb of ram?

Very impressive Swtos this ROM! It's my favorite at the moment.
I don't get the 77MB at startup like you've mentioned in the first post. My device gives me 66,90MB.

Guess it's caused by the Diamond dialer. If I disable this using the registry I gain about 8MB (74,7MB).

I did notice two cosmetical things though.
To show you I've attached two images.

Hope you can help me out concerning the dialer problem?

i have two small problems with 0.98.

-on phone settings--band, i can choose only beetwen "auto" and "umts(900-2100) + gsm(900+1800)", no way to choose just umts or just gsm
-i cant found the option for close program just tapping the X

and one question: which is the cab file for managing rar&zip files??

i guess i have found a bug in 0.98 light. i just recived a txt and i have notification set to sound & vibrate. well it didnt stop vibrating. it went on and on. i eventually soft reset the device. now i have recived txt prior where it never made the sound but did momentarily buzz. not complaining just helpin' :)

Any change to share the font Helvetica for this ROM?

I found some fonts that I placed in my Windows\Font\
But now it seems that even the connection pop-up (AS of Hard Drive) is using the Helvetica font.

There is no language update for my cab. Use it as is. 5 langs are working fine .
(English, French, German, Italian, Spanish). If you have any problem with Spanish language, please
reinstall cab, removing all other lang cabs.

Yes, I know that Threaded SMS can be disabled view. The problem is that I (and some other people perhaps) want to use it and it doesn't work. That's a pity for such a great ROM. We all here really appreciate your work, but can you please investigate this problem?.. I try almost every rom coming out in my spare time and never saw such a problem on my Touch or Diamond. So the reason must be in some of your modifications.

Volume controle has only one bar called System Sound. Does this control both volumes, ring and system? Because you can't control ring volume after installing this CAB it seems.

To get the font working correct "System Volume":
Place Helvetica in the \Windows\ folder.
Set slider for text size inside settings to the middle.

Any solution for the threaded SMS already? For me it's no problem that it doesn't work but maybe you could create a single SMS inside the ROM? Now I have to change the settings after flashing. No a problem for me, but it would be nice if the ROM works straight out of your box Swtos :D

I managed to benchmark your latest v1.0 (my GPS was broken, but now works again). It's the fasted I benchmarked!
But... it a very very clean ROM, so I installed Manila, Opera, Office and HTC Keyboards like all other ROMs I benchmarked. Result: still very fast, second fast of all.
I tested 5 versions of your ROMs, they're in the top 5. Congratz, you know how to cook!

One but: by installing those addons (Manila ect.) afterwards the device uses more memory then other ROMS which have these pre-installed. Your ROM has only 63 Mb Program memory left, other have more.

Install the manilla.cab The link is in the first post. And maybe a brain upgrade from 286? As it will be needed to install the things omitted from this ultra LITE rom hich is also stated in the first post.

It migt not be working because you use a short tone for the alarm.
There is a small delay before you actually here the tone. Try to select Alarm5 for example.

I don't kno what all this GPS issue talk is about, i've used about 3 different ROM's since i've gotten my diamond just over a week ago now. I have now settled on v0.98 for now.

Since i've had the diamond, i've come across no issues with the GPS at all. Only issue i have come across is since i rid my diamond of the stock telstra rom. No msn :( :(

for bluetooth 4th tab use the following cab to fix the language ....

At first, thanks for your work - its great!

I thought of one thing; I upgrade my ROMS often but i never do a hard reset.. I only install it over the old version. Would it make any difference if i did a hard-reset? According to speed etc..

This ROM is very fast but I find some bugs.. does anyone have the same experience too ?

1. MSN Messenger does not work. It immediately display "There's a connectivity problem. Make sure you're in an area with good reception and try again". It does not seem to attempt connecting to the Internet and it does not work even I have already connected to the Internet as well.

2. GPS can start but cannot locate my position. I have already waited for 5 mins.

Gps locates position instantly (with quickgps updated and clear sky ) ....

1. Bluetooth explorer doesnt stay on after reboot.
2. Opera CAB: when visiting a secure page, the icon with the "lock" is misformed and missplaced ... cosmetic issue no clue where it came from (just noted it while doing some banking). Office Mobile already includes OneNote, so don't try to install them both (will make a duplicate unremoveable Office Mobile link in startmenu, removed by uninstalling OneNote cab).
