Works fine for me. I had that problem a while ago when I used FingerKeyboard. Do you have that installed? If so, that might be the problem...

well i've the keyboards only availabe with the ROM... not instaled anything else.. so its working fine when i use the option of qwerty keyboard but not able to find contacts while using the phone keyboard option..

You mean in Manila ? If I can remember correctly, I think I have them cooked in already. You just need to enable them using Advance Config. Please try it and see. I can't check right now because my HDD crashed and all my ROM stuffs went with it. :(

WHAT??!!! hope you have them backed up.. btw, i still have no idea which dsm file in the LangDB folder to use. so i opted for 778fa68c-6f86-7cfb-312d-6862e7b2f41c.dsm. i tried 'reading' through the other one and it has got something to do with 'sign 20050'. no idea whats that. cant help it. im just a beginner. hope you dont mind me posting some bugs for new users to take note.

1. the system will NOT restart after installing. so please reset after installation. but have no idea why sometimes it does.

2. the psShutXP feature will NOT shut the system down. selecting it will just put the system in hibernate mode, not shut down; due to the lack of PowerOffWarning feature which wasnt intergrated into psShutXP.

3. to uninstall the auto-rotation, use total commander or the file explorer (make sure to 'show all files', and scroll to or search for 'Gyrator.cab'. click on it. it'll prompt you that it must uninstall the previous version before re-installing the new one. click on ok to uninstall. once done with the uninstalling, it'll prompt you where to install. DO NOT CONTINUE. cancel and exit. reset system and you'll find that auto-rotation is disabled for good.

4. if any of you finds the system to be slow (like me) use pagepool changer to change it as the default is 6Mb. i changed my modified one to between 32Mb to 48Mb. and it's running extremely fast.

5. there's pocket contact manager included. it doesnt show in programs but you can find it in \windows. and it doesnt display properly. at all.

i hope that vic is willing to share his expertise with regards to the extra dsm file which i know it's important but cant cook both together. it'll give me some error. and i hope too that new users are willing to READ in any issue arises.

as you can see, there's no extra tabs. i tried coding the manila file. but with no success so far. still trying bit by bit. hopefully you'll be able retrieve your backups and help with the extra manila tabs. it'll be complete with extra comm manager (can the microsoft push be removed? it seems to be there in ALL other comm manager tabs), sounds and calendar tabs..

The option to alter the icon/tab list is found only in HD manilla. you won't obviously find it in the vic 3.7 cause vic opted for the classic manila this time.
if u really want to change the order .... try downloading diamond tf3d config

However, just a question, is it possible to disable the auto-rotate of.. pretty much everything? I pull the phone out of my pocket and it's flipped 180 degrees half the time and goes left and right when I'm in a call. Just lags the whole process if I need to touch the keypad etc.

Even better option though I'm probably asking too much.. was that would it be possible to specify which programs to allow auto-rotation? Something like the application, Flip-IT (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=429682) where you can set which rotations are possible for each program, eg. Manila, Opera, Calculator, Teeter etc.

Thanks deeren, surprised I didn't notice it as it was only a few pages ago.. Although I think I'm going to try and use Flip-It instead, I'm just not sure if it's compatible since it's quite old now. G-Config only allows rotation, I prefer something to limit the degrees because while I do want landscape rotation, I don't actually want upside down 180 rotation etc etc.

Another thing I've noticed though, is that my program memory is used up very quickly? I'm not sure if it's normal.. Having used minimal usage of the phone (GPS for 20mins, made few calls and texts and just came home and sync'ed to computer), it's 17.89MB free out of 107.02 compared to 46.72MB free on a soft reset, so am I forced to keep soft resetting it scheduled every night? It doesn't free up after a period of inactivity either.. it really lags my phone, I can tell you that! (Is that much memory free normal for anyone?

And just incase someone asks, I'm not confusing this with Storage Phone Memory where you have programs that take up space =p And no programs are running in the background.. it's only previous programs that did open, and then closed... but memory usage still there?

I've set the phone to reset every 1 hour now using the psShutXP, is that going to harm my phone much? Just so the memory stays in tip-top shape cuz it's horrible after it reaches 80%, nothing loads - my contacts, messages etc.

I have checked again using the Rhodium I cooked into the ROM and it works for both Phone Keypad and Full QWERTY.

Both are different ROMs. 6.5 is Windows Mobile 6.5 which is from MS while the 3.x series are my own cooked ROM based on Windows obile 6.1 Pro.

This ROM is using the Classic Manila and have no option to rearrange the tabs. HD Manila has the option though. To do this on the Classic Manila, you have to install Advanced Config.

Yes, I mixed and matched lots of themes and created some on my own to arrive at the ones I used on my ROM. If you just want the clock then I will send to you when I am available.

Have been using the program throughout the day, it does do the job quite nicely! But still a bit of an obstacle having the clear the RAM prior to using the phone when it's been idle for awhile. Just finished using ActiveSync via bluetooth and performed cleanRAM before I sleep, noticed it was still at 81% memory usage (About 20mb free)? Had to softreset to clear it still.. Maybe problems with my ActiveSync and memory leaking? I also notice that when I try to open more programs with only little RAM available, it can't open anything. Start menu doesn't work, task manager sometimes doesn't work either.

Oh, and does anyone notice the lag when typing on the keyboard?

Just a little report, thought I might provide some feedback.

If you shut down auto rotation, nothing will be rotated. Just that you should know. If you really want to do that then just install the g-config too by Makeveral and delete all the values in it.

To re-enable phone pad lock, change this registry value:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\HTC\PHONE]
"PhoneLockEnable"=1

Hi again!

I have one more problem with the 3.6 version.
When I surf the net my phone freezes after i change to a few sites and I need to hard reset.
It looks like the phone is running out of memory.

Can someone else please confirm this?

I'm going to hard reset, but some quick notes/observations:

I can't use the hard button (bottom left) to pick up incoming calls.

Icon at the top has a constant data <->

I just did a soft reset and now I'm stuck at "Tap here to launch TF3D".

I downloaded the classic from about 2 days ago off your site.

Using the full qwerty. Adding a space, put the space in front of the word behind it, even with all predictive stuff unchecked.

Answering calls. Works about 50% of the time from the hard button. It acts like it's picked up the call, hear static, but nobody is there. I have to call the caller right back. This happens in different locations, and I've never experienced this before.

Weather tab is broken. I can't add a city, the display is not working. It will pop into "select country" with nothing listed.

I really liked one of the previous HD versions, but this one is really chappin' me.

first of all, 3.7 works great!!:D

but i've got a problem,
when i'm typing an sms the screen is slower than I type. (and i'm not fast with 'abc' the 't9' is not an option bcause i'm from holland and the t9 is english) second when I type 'space' it puts the space before the word I just typed in stead of behind it. very weird. also if i type '!' of '?' it stays marked green. so if i go on with typing, the marked sign disappears and i type over it.
anyone knows the problem? anyone knows how to solve?
(i chose for the soft reset after coocking in stead of the hard reset wich was not nessesary acording to the tutorial link)

one thing is: the blocks in the background of the touch flow 3D wich give you the 3dimensional sense (the slide away when you change from tab to tab) don't slide away anymore. i installed the 'remove background from all pages' and i have the blocks back but they don't slide away anymore.. it fades
anyone know this problem? how to solve???

I'm encountering the following problems after flashing ver 3.7 of this Rom:

1) For Full Qwerty, there is no button to return back to ABC mode after using the number 123 mode. It's weird that letter "P" and "W" appear on the number mode???

2) Touching/Clicking on the taskbar does not show the icons for setting such as backlight, battery, volume just as the original diamond rom.
Everytime I click on the taskbar, the notification screen is the only thing that shows up.

Also is it possible that I can disable background wallpaper shown in other tabs except in "HOME".

This is to inform you that the 3.7 ROM is the last one I made because I am leaving Xda for awhile to concentrate on my family and work. Therefore, I would not be able to support my ROMs as often as I wish to. I will be keeping my download links for some time though.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has supported me and helped me along the way. The path to learning to cook a good and stable ROM has been long and sometimes frustrating but I enjoyed every moment of them.

Last but not least, when the right time comes.....I WILL BE BACK ! :)

Thanks for the comments. Which version have you flashed ? I believe I made a mistake somewhere. Windows Live is supposed to have been removed. I will take a look at it though.

after a usage of 30min it slows down very much..am i the only?

Damn..i tried my nwe founded album tuning stuff, but it doesnt work!!! at the touchflo3d menu even the touchscreen doesnt respond on the tapping, just on the "canlell" or "back" tap under the album...NOOO!!!!!
pls let me know how to fix this...
