Thanks for the answer.
I look quickly navizon but as i see i dont use sms coordinate. You must use NAVIZON ON LINE.
I am interessed to use sms with gps lat long coordinate and see the location without use internet connection.
I can donwnload google map for necessity but my tarif plan cost to much for internet use.

As I told before Garmin XT has that option. It is called peer points. You can send and receive the coordinates and see them in the gps map without having to pay anything besides the sms.

Hello pereirald
I look the manual and i see that this sms exchange are only avaylable for GARMIN product.
It can be that i don't read good enouth in English.
In my case i have to use a GPS TRACKER that not give the possibility to change the sms header and message.
:(
Thanks in advance for your replay

Hi pako1
I think that in that case you have to introduce the coordinates by hand (probably the thing you didn't wanted to do) and so it doesn't matter which software you have on your polaris. I think almost all have the ability to introduce coordinates. I thought that because you were still going to buy the gps tracker and so you could go on a Garmin product for your son and XT for you. Anyway , hope you get what you want

Hi Pako,
I think you need something like
1 - MobileJustice (http://sourceforge.net/projects/mjustice), Sprite Terminator or some other piece of so called "Antitheft software" that is able to receive an SMS and reply with the present GPS coordinates (device with GPS intern/external).
2 - The SMS sender is the easy part (any mobile phone will do);
3 - transforming the recieved SMS coordinates in a point on a map may be done by Google Earth or any of those pointed in 1)
Good Luck / Hope this helps

thanks Ulopes,
but your answer is not helping me.
The fact is that the gps tracker send "SMS WITH LAT LONG" but from my HTC CRUISE i cant see in automatic the location on a map without access to internet ( my internet gsm plan is expensive).
I need :
1) read sms from a application
2) locate the lat/long coordinate on a map without any external connection ( NO WIFI, NO GPRS, NO TELEPHONE)
3) It will be wonderfull read this coordinate from SMS INBOX and watch it as point in TOMTOM O garmin xt or in a GOOGLE MAP CACHE.
I think that this kind off application will be helpfull for a lot of application as:
CHILD GPS TRACKER, CAR LOCATION, security location of bagage ecc

Hello i find the solution: PHONETRACKER LOCATOR for tomtom http://www.phonetracker.de/projects/phonetracker/CMS/Content/119
I too have been trying very hard finding this kind of software but without success. Phonetracker will not work for me because my tracking device is Benefon TWIG Locator that is not supported for TomTom Navigator or Google Maps Mobile. Strange that it is supported for Garmin Mobile XT only.
I have also tried
GPS.PI http://www.jgui.net/gps/gpspi/
OXI2OZI http://www.frada.net/ozi2ozi/ozi2ozi.htm
But without success with my devices
HTC TyTN II, WM6.1
Benefon TWIG Locator
Is there anyone out there knowing about a useable solution?
