This has happened before but I don't know what buttons made it happen.

My touch screen stopped responding. all other buttons work, navigates with hard buttons etc. Soft reset didn't do the trick.

I have DCD 3.2.5
Radio 3.42.40

Any idea?? Please let me know asap I need this phone to work by tonight :(

P.S I know a hard reset will fix it but I dont want to erase all my data. I want to exhaust other options first. thank you

just watch for what you put into ur OEM folder, i remember certain oem apps did the same to mine. after i took a lot of my oems out and cooked it again fresh (deleted the whole dcd rom folder and extracted another one from the rar/zip) it worked fine!

youll have to take out any custom oems and reflash. i dont know if youll be able to get an activesync connection from that screen though. do you have an sd card?

How do I take those out?? Should I just reflash right off the bat? Yes I have an SD card and it's formatted to FAT32. Should I just put the DCD 3.2.5 rom in there and go?

just dont add any other OEM's besides what is in the kitchen......no you have to extract the signe nbh and remane it to TITAIMG.nbh then put the phone in BL and follow the on-screen prompts...

Got a screen protector?

I applied one this evening on my Wife's phone, and it wouldn't let me get past the initial setup screen either. As soon as I removed it, things worked just fine... Weird...

Mine did the same thing to me yesterday but I was running the stock ROM. I got stuck at the align screen and nothing would fix it.

Long story short - Verizon wound up giving a new out of the box unit and spb backup re-loaded everything fine.

Good Luck.

I've also had issues when trying to have a screen protector just a bit larger than the screen, and slip the edges under the bevel.

The touchscreen stopped responding.

Solution: make your screen protector a more comfortable size.

Or your problem may be software or hardware related...
