Hi,

I do not have such problems.

Maybe you would like to share what roms u using?

Some suggestions, you might want to flash back to the original rom to see if such problem persist.

I'm currently using UDK R7 with murata 1.58.25.14.

Hope that helps:)

Waht is your serialnr. of the device.
Because on a dutch forum we collect al the serialnr. to look at the most common problems with the serialnr. as a reverence.
Maybe with this information i can look a this forum for u so you can contact HTC.

This patch can not solve BT problem. The BT can't switch on to apply a patch (patch for mute and steady)

Is it your hardware problem? Seems no ppl encounter the problem. I use it very happy. No hanging at all.

Dunno! Too bad maybe hardware bug sometimes false connection or bluetooth processor partial out of service.
What is the differences between 1.58.25.14 and 1.64.08.21 version.I don't understand why some rom are 1.58.xxxx and other are 1.64.xxxx

Today my Polaris Began to do exactly the same, Bluetooth will not turn on no matter what. I did hard reset, applied the BT patches on HTC support page after the hard reset and my Bluetooth worked for some hours but when I walked in the car it could not connect to the BT Hands free and afterwards it restarted itself and no more BT. Did hard reset again applied the patches but now nothing seems to work. I have the original German 1.25.407.1 GER ROM and it had been working great for the past six months but not anymore today... any suggestions on how to fix this issue??

Good day all.

I have the same problems with my HTC TC. It is only 4 months old and it all started with the BT problem failing intermittently... now permanent:(. Then my mic volume is too soft to make proper conversation... and now my USB doesn't work.
My TC information as follows:
ROM: 1.26.457.1 WWE
Radio: 1.58.21.23

I like to flash the ROM with the latest from HTC but no USB connection... to PC.
Can someone advise how I can proceed?? I'm hoping this upgrade can fix all my problems.

You can put your phone into bootloader mode by pressing camera + reset button, connect your phone into PC by USB cable, then flash a rom you want.

In my 3 month experience using Polaris, no any rom or radio at this moment can fix BT problem. Only one method will fix it: goodbye Polaris, buy another phone

rename the RUU_signed.nbh to POLAIMG.NBH copy to the root of your sd card then while pressing your camera button take youir stylist and stick it in the reset hole at the bottom of your phone to the left of your usb.

Good day bkeaver

Thanks for your response. Where can I get the RUU_signed.nbh file??
In the HTC site, I have downloaded an .exe file and the instructions require me to connect the TC to the PC using activesync thru' the USB port...
... very grateful if you can point me to the website??

Just download someones ROM and execute the exe, let the screen up on the compter that you get that instructs you to verify that the usb is connected and so on. look in the directory through explorer on your computer that you executed the exe in. there should be a nbh file in there. rename that and copy to your sd card....this should work for you

also maybe the reason you cannot connect via activesync USB connection is because the setting for usb to pc has the option "Enable advanced netowrk funstionality" is enabled. make sure this isnt enabled...to check this , if you dont already know, is click start>settings>system

was just a thought.....

Good day... the flash was successful but the problems persists. THe info on the TC reads:
ROM: 1.28.457.2 WWE
Radio:1.58.25.14

bkeaver, I have checked the setting and it is disabled. I did enable it prior to the problem appearing... can it be that the registry is corrupted by this setting... DIsabling the option now fails to clear the corruption???
Observation: In comm manager sometimes the BT state is ON but going into BT settings and out again, it returns to OFF. No blue LED.
Any more ideas, anyone b4 I call it quits?? Other ROM to flash??

Good day all...
Just want to let you guys with the USB issue know that the USB in my TC has returned. I've been looking thru' a lot of threads here and going to proposed solutions by many people here in this forum.

To date, this is what I have in my TC:
Uncheck option in USB to PC under Connections in Settings.
Now this may sound silly but I connected my TC to PC to view the error " USB device not recognised..." on PC. Prior to this I downloaded "Pocket Power Manager 2.11" so that I can soft reset on screen. My soft reset button had also failed. Anyway, how did I get the software on... via my MicroSD. I performed a soft reset via PPM with the USB still intact... and lo and behold... USB connection restarted while TC was restoring...
I hope this fix is permanent...

I like to check my registry on bluetooth settings (can somebody show me where??...) BUt first, I like to know from someone with a working BTon their TC or Polaris if they can post their settings...
I like to compare with mine to see if there are any obvious settings to correct....
Thanks.

There is no software solution to BT connection problem.
It is proved to be the hardware motherboard problem since the moment of Polaris appearance (i.e. the design error), look at
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=371101&page=3

The only solution is to send the device back to HTC for repair.
I got my device back from repair two months ago. It works so far, but I try do not switch off BT connection.

Thanks for all the advice.

I have decided to return my TC for warranty repair... too much hassles with the many issues I have with my TC.
Will keep this forum informed of the result after repair
