Virtual Keyboard Issues

I have a lagging problem with the Virtual Keyboard that I didn't seem to have before. It seems to be fine when I installed the original Radio and Rom for the first time which was 3.2.3 I think. Then I just did an upgrade later to 3.2.5 and when I use the virtual keyboard and press the keys it will have a huge delay before the numbers and letters show up on the screen. It's driving me crazy. Does anyone have a solution to this problem? I put a new screen protector on it too that's alot thicker then the old one, but I don't see how that could be causing any issues. Also, does anybody know if I do a Radio upgrade if I'll loose my data? Thanks for the help...

if you do the radio
update from de microsd card you wont lose the data... if you do it from the USB method you'll do hard reset...

solution: ALWAYS use the microsd card update, it's easier, faster and safer... you can see the steps here... (search for "Flashing a phone with a micro SD card")

OK, thanks. What exactly does the Radio do? Will I have to reinstall anything after updating the Radio?

nope, if you do the microsd update you wont loose anything, you'll have your phone just as it was but with the new radio...
