Hi All,
I've got an htc 6800 from bell. upgraded the bootloader to 2.47, radio to 3.42.50 , and installed DCD's 3.2.5
everything went smooth. installed the Bell Carrier cab to get the data settings on the phone.
i've run into 2 problems:
-When trying to use data over the cell network it shows it cannot connect.
-When trying to make a phone call it gets a busy signal immediately
any ideas at all? i've installed the official htc/bell rom and i get the exact same behaviour
thanks

I'm assuming you did the programming sequence? I'm not sure if Bell is *228 with option 1 like verizon... but have you tried that?

nope. i have no idea about that.. how would that sequence work?
with a cdma phone like this, is there any way to know the phone number which should be attached to the phone? is there a way to program the phone number back into the phone ?

That's in the EPST settings. Look at ##778 or ##778#. That should bring up EPST settings. If you "View" it has the number in the phone set there. If you "Edit" I believe you can change it.

thanks for the replies.. basically got me to figure out what was missing.
for bell it seemed to be ##111111# and it sent it into the settings where you put phone number and stuff.. works perfect now
thanks!
