Also, I connect to my WiFi and try to get a map of Pattaya, Thailand. (My Home:D...But I don't get a map. How does that work.

Hi, I try the core20758, but I still encounter the camera flashing problem even it is said it can be fixed by software reset. Can anyone tell me how to solve it? and by the way, does anyone think that the battery consumption is significant? or just my battery fault? Thank you for your help ~

Only one problem. When using Media Player while traveling, after 10-15 mins the music automatically pauses ... Well the thing that i observed is that i usually keep my screen off (By pressing the middle jog) when i am listening music and suddenly my phone would pause the music and i have to restart the screen and play the song again. .. Can you please help me with this. :)

First Put ur mobile on bootloader mode then upgrade. Camera+Restart

hello....i have a beter way to surf internet than opera mobile...that is skyfire...its faster than opera and its needs less memory...its a briliant idea i think...but 1 things is u need to register to use it....just reg at the skyfire web(and its free) then u can use it whenever u wants it and its more faster than opera 9.5 beta 2

After that run the ROM on your PC. Don't disconnect the Device while upgrading or U'll have brick Atom in ur hand.

SD card flashing is not recommended for noobs.

put the Mobile on Bootloader mode, you will get the message new device found and ready to use. after that run the rom on ur PC. If in normal mode ur device connect to ur PC than it should also not give any trouble.

its about web surfing....
i have 1 surgestion to u....
i think its is better than opera 9.5 beta 2.....
its is skyfire....just reg at the skyfire webside(free)and u will get the installer at ur email......its more faster than opera...and the problems is the battry consumtion is critically high....that is becoz the surfing speed is consistant.....iv using this skyfire and surfing around 30 minuts from 99% its down to 68%......but the program needs less memory usage...and the page is great...i can play video from youtube and many more cz the speed is amaizingly fast.........i hope PDAVIET will hear my surgestion and make some tweeks to this rom....im using O2 Atom....

This rom by Kumara last present I installed after trying various roms by sonblack has actually worked I think it is one of the best roms as the icons rock more storage memory available after install and the best part A2DP works on all Bluetooth headsets I have tried so far!!

Sonblack if you are reading this please try and incooperate this build by Kumara(19199) in the manilla touck flow roms, as no A2DP is like removing one of the best assets of our ATOM.

Kumkum, why the rom 20758 is not stable?
1) like when i launch a program for eg messaging, when i use the program for a while, lets say 10 seconds, it'll become unstable and suddenly minimized. have to tap on to the top bar to maximize the program again to use.

2) everytime after i use a program, M2D will terminate and i have to tap the screen to relaunch it again. why is this happening almost everytime i use applications?

3) when i use the diamond keypad, the one with t9, everytime when i try to launch messaging from M2D by tapping on the text message to reply, the launched keypad will not be able to type alphabet, only numbers appear, no t9 at all.

4) its even better if you can include, htc large start menu.

5) Whenever my phone sleeps for long period of time, lets say 2-3 hours, applications like messaging and alarm will only ring when after i turn my phone back on from sleep mode. for eg, if i'm supposed to receive a message at 3pm, but during that time my phone is in sleep mode (LCD turned off), den later on, i din check my phone until 5pm, when i turn the LCD back on, it only comes in. alarm also the same, lets say i set the alarm to ring at 6am, but i never ring until i turn the LCD back on at 8pm!! by that time i was already late for work!!!! this is a serious issue here.... :(

anyway i heard theat o2 has launched the new o2 xda ignito that using touchflo 3d on it.......how about using that platform u mod it into the one that suitable for o2 atom or atom exec....cz its using touchflo 3d.....i cant wait for the development of touchflo 3d on the atom...its ok cz the touch flo 2d manila need some tweeks on it like point UI....combine it and i think it will make the manila 2d just like 3d ver.....i hope touchflo 3d will be able on atom someday....

with this rom installed on my atom, my device keeps turning off the phone(airplane mode) whenever my atom sleeps(hibernate i think) but when the atom wakes up, it will automatically turn the airplane mode off but resulting to 10-30secs starting up the signal... is there a way to cure this bug(is this a bug?)???

KumKum I Tried updating Other Roms....like kumara final,touch v3,jiggs wm6 aku7 and other old o2 factory roms they work fine...

But lately I have downloaded the 3 roms

Nope, no luck.. Un-ticked both the power setting, but still doesn't work. In-fact after exactly 5 mins my mobile would power save itself, it doesn't matter if i am listening the songs or watching a movie, all i have to do is, need to tap the screen every 3-4 mins to keep it on... This is annoying. :mad:

I found the problem when restoring SMS, If I exclude SMS from the restore process TouchFLO works fine. I tried to restore SMS and hide MessagingWedget everything work fine, but If I show MessagingWedget again TouchFLO cannot start.

Does anyone have any hint ?

Actually I have more than 200 SMS in the backup archive. and I tried to restore SMS and contacts only but with no luck. What is the problem with large no of SMS ?

I tried differents ROMs, and I got the same problems. The ROMs that I have tried 20924, 20758, 20748, 19971.

1 - Bottom Buttons of Phone, hang-on, hangup, O.k., Left/right/Up/Down Today an Media Center, are not working. Not even the buttons lights.

2 - a2dp not working. No sound.

3 - When click over the Music icon on touchflo, the phone get very slow, sometimes need to reset the PDA.

I did upgrade ur core 20924 ROM of my ATOM and found pretty stable,however when I install OPERA as the cab is supplied by you ,i found that there is a problem with the camera getting hanged many a times.Many times I need to put out the Battery and then again start my atom to fix the camera problem.However after removing OPERA I found that the camera is working Fine.

My second request is to let me know the way to change the BELOW MENU option from the
RESET (which you have put in this core on the Left and CommMgr on the Right)to my preferred ones as many times I mistakenly touch the Reset and my O2 ATOM gets reset without even popping any message.

Rest also let me know as to why The 'E' (edge)display vanishes if I dont use or connect after some times,but when I try to connect from WkTask it does connect and the E get displayed and also the connected smaller E.

I've tried the new rom 20924, its very stable and fast, most of the problem that i faced in 20758 core has been solved. however a few points to ponder here for future roms:

1) never ever put reset key as the left softkey in the home of M2D, i tell u what, my thumb is too large and i mistakenly press it when i scroll the manila, however the problem solved after i downloaded M2D configuration to reset the softkeys to default.

2) why do u remove important apps like the advanced configuration and adobe reader? instead u can choose remove rather useless apps like total commander (its useless at least to me..lolz), media center, games etc.

3) Might as well trim the OS itself rather than remove app, u may remove stuff like preloaded tones (coz for sure non of us use the preloaded tones as ringtones), or any other unwanted stuff in the OS.

4) include more touch app that makes it more finger friendly. Apps like icontact (personally i prefer old v0.6), touch diamond keypad etc.

5) why S2U2 hangs for a few seconds after i slide to unlock it? it is not as responsive as before. after i slide it to unlock, it'll be blank black screen for more than 10 seconds, then only be totally unlocked.

Overall, this core is just awesome, the big start menu is a best improvement from previous M2D cores. its faster and stable compared to previous roms with M2D.

extract the rom in your temp folder and flash it again.......
otherwise you will brick your device

total number of SMS in inbox now about 100
May be the Size of the SMS contents does matter, I have many SMS in Arabic using UNICode charachters, but I'm not sure.

KumKum has to find if its due to Opera or something else.IN this ROM I cant also remove OPERA to check if the Camera problem is due to opera.

Also if some one wanna cold reboot the Atom always make ensure that the battery is well charg or you may brick the ROM as I did the same mistake to cold reset and then my Atom only gets till O2 screen.Fortunatel I was able to enter into the Bootloader mode upgraded my ROM so was just saved in bricking my atom.

The last problem is when I try to change the theme I mean just the Clock of the manila into a tourbillon clock via M2DC, I found that the digital clocks digits doesnt get small and
inturn appears in a merged form ,Doesnt know how to reduce the size and color of the digital clock digits.
I urge KUMKUM to solve the above problem and then this ROM will ROCK.

Nice quick rom, but I have the same problem with Bluetooth headset.
I recognizes it but doesnt work. it seems to be that it thinks its Handsfree instead of Headset, with 20758 rom had no problem
Also I noticed that when you add more than one bluetooth device the list disapears.

This rom, 20931, is more battery hungry than the previous rom...it suck up more ram as well....however after location, internet and music tabs are removed, a lot of ram is freed up....quite fast though....

Hi all!In this release dont work corect A2DP!I have headset Sony dr-bt21g when I include search on mobile it them finds, asks the password, after speaks that all is connected but it through them does not reproduce music! Music to be reproduced through columns on mobile. (My mobile O2 ATOM)

I am trying to update my O2 Atom with the latest ROM. However it fails with message "No Download Target Found"

I believe that this is due to a driver missing in Vista. Please help with the driver. I am using Vista SP 1 Enterprise 32 bit.

I tried the driver given in post above called "RapidsharePlus_www.crazyhackerz.net" but that fails and it says ensure that the driver is for 32 bit systems.

Please help with the same. I need to update the ROM due to corruption in existing ROM.

So now cannot hear any sound on the speakers.

can i ask how much RAM are you able to free on clean rom? 54.44mb (interesting with 6mb pagepool) is great number so is it more than 32mb after reset?

I'm using this nice ROM, and it is working very good
Recently, I subscribed to a service from my network service provides that let me receive an SMS after each call I make, this SMS tells me the cost of the last call and my current credit balance.
I could not receive this SMS with my atom, when I put my SIM into any othe mobile phone (I tried Nokia 2610), I can receive this SMS
Should I make any modifications with my atom to receive this SMS ?

Very nice rom 21014!
But I still got a problem on STK service. When I use mobile bank service. In the last step, (enter code) it showed the message "Please enter someting".
How to fix this problem?

1. I've got exactly the same problem. How to resolve?
2. It seems that the memory is leaking. I have to soft reset device more frequent than when i use other rom.
3. In all, it's very good rom... keep up the good work.

you can free up your ram with some software ,there is no need reset your device frequently.............

why dont you use....spb shell with wm6.5 theme from mtstmp to feed ur hunger....

to feed my hunger i am using the spb shell with the bb theme i find it far more pretty than the 6.5 theme. i look for the 6.5 rom because it is a technological upgrade. if you get the hang of what i am saying.the 6.1 which i am currently using is far better and feature rich rom than the 5.0 with which the atom orignally came. i cant imagine having been stuck with the 5.0 with my atom.with a 416 mhz processor and a latest rom the need to change your phone fades.still waiting for the 6.5 for atom thanks in advance.

Hi guys, I'm newbie w/ O2 Xda Atom. I've download the PDAVIET_ROM_WM61_OS20954_ATOMEXEC_Sonblack. But my Xda Atom is still using the standard WM 5. Should I upgrade the WM to 6.1 first? Or it will be upgrade automatically when I run the ROM upgrade?
