i installed this rom last night , every thing works fine but there are 2 main problems i am facing with this first is the lighter one that there is fan flickering on the camera , second it the major one that every time i soft-reset my device it stops at the second boot screen and never wakes up until i attach it with the power supply.

Anyone has any solution for this..

whenever the battery is lower than 35% it starts restarting by itself

spend some time and revert to 19212, the AADP problem doesn't exist. It seems the bluetooh module is the same as the one used in WM5, which is working most of the time. The only problem which exists in WM5 is when using the headset to pause/resume playback, the pause is always working, but not the resume-playback, Howerver it is fixed in WM6. Well, I think this problem is more tolerable than the one in WM6..so not complaining

actually i dont have any bluetooth device to test but in pdaviet forum many member says that it works..

does anyone else have this bt to listen to music problem? I don't believe I've done anything weird to not get it working. just some info, when I use my bt to to call/answer, no problem, i can hear the other person, but when I want to listen to music nothing comes out. other roms don't give me this problem.

i dont have music problem...music sounds great to my atom...thanks kumkum...but i got one problem...when i tried installing srs_wow_hd to my atom, then try restarting it...it works fine but when i turn the power button off to lessen my battery life, when i turn it on i cant click anything on my screen,its not hangging coz when i press the start button below the call button, its responding..only i cant able to click to my screen....HELP...:eek: coz i really want this rom coz the music player doesn't do the buffing every time i play my mp3s unlike the other rom earlier...

This ROM version work very well ! But there is a small issue with time to auto disconnect GPRS ! There is anyone can solve it?

The issue like this:
At default, GPRS will alway on after connect. It is disconnected only when lose signal, the user disconnect it (by wireless manager) or make a call or receive a call. After that, if there is a new GPRS request, it will auto connect to GPRS and still be there.
That is, i work well with its default funtions. But, GPRS alway on will make many issue at receive call or hangup call, and it drain battery. So, we can set GPRS to auto disconnect after x seconds from last GRPS request. You can use Advance Conifg to do this (in Connect setting menu) .
And, the issue is here. Although you set the cachetime to 30s, 60s or more, it just disconnect immediately after the last GPRS connection. Look like the cachetime has been set to 0.
This issue will become the big problem when you use some software need more data from many source (example is stock or weatherpanel). When that software need data, ATOM will auto connect GPRS, it's ok, work well. But, after download from 1st source, soft will stop repquest to 1st source. And then, GPRS will be disconnected immediatly ! So, if that soft need data from 20 sources in 1 times , GPRS will be connected/disconnected 20 times! With many times connect/disconnect in short time like that, it is often make error with modem (they said that the cache or cookie of modem need time to be erased, if it have not enough, it will be error).

So, anyone can make the Cachetime of GPRS work ?

This ROM version work very well ! But there is a small issue with time to auto disconnect GPRS ! There is anyone can solve it?

The issue like this:
At default, GPRS will alway on after connect. It is disconnected only when lose signal, the user disconnect it (by wireless manager) or make a call or receive a call. After that, if there is a new GPRS request, it will auto connect to GPRS and still be there.
That is, i work well with its default funtions. But, GPRS alway on will make many issue at receive call or hangup call, and it drain battery. So, we can set GPRS to auto disconnect after x seconds from last GRPS request. You can use Advance Conifg to do this (in Connect setting menu) .
And, the issue is here. Although you set the cachetime to 30s, 60s or more, it just disconnect immediately after the last GPRS connection. Look like the cachetime has been set to 0.
This issue will become the big problem when you use some software need more data from many source (example is stock or weatherpanel). When that software need data, ATOM will auto connect GPRS, it's ok, work well. But, after download from 1st source, soft will stop repquest to 1st source. And then, GPRS will be disconnected immediatly ! So, if that soft need data from 20 sources in 1 times , GPRS will be connected/disconnected 20 times! With many times connect/disconnect in short time like that, it is often make error with modem (they said that the cache or cookie of modem need time to be erased, if it have not enough, it will be error).

So, anyone can make the Cachetime of GPRS work ?

Oh no, i said that, with the default GPRS funtions of this ROM, it work very well. But, it got the issue when turn on the auto disconnect funtion .

You use Advance Config -> Menu -> Connections settings.. ->
Make sure that "....(GPRS)" is "Enable", not "Disable" or "Alway on" . And then, look at below of that, there is "Disconnect after:" , check the checkbox at the left and chose the time you want it auto disconnect GPRS connection after the last GPRS request.

If that funtion work well, GPRS will autodisconnect after the time you has chosen, not immediatly or still alive. But, the issue is, although you chose 30s, 2m or 10m , GPRS will disconnect immediatly if it see there is no GPRS request !

Use RegEdit in ROM, adjust following k.e.y:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\HTC\EnlargeMenu]
"Enable"=dword:00000001 (large Start Menu)
Change this from 1 to 0 and then Soft Reset. Everything is ok for you later.

you have to install device boot driver in your computer for windows vista.

You know What I tried installing the ROM using a different computer with xp on it.. and it worked just fine..
I love this Rom.. However the battery drains out so early .. i didnt have this issue before.. any fix for this..

I have done this but same error. I even delete the Temp folder and create a new Temp folder then put the files of the ROM ( PDAVIET_ROM_WM61_OS19212_ATOM_Diamond.exe *, PV_Sign.dat *) then do the flashing, same error.

I like the ROM core 20748 especially Light function, iPhone dialer, Calculator skin which is different and nice from that of core 19949

Well, some problem with PDAVIET roms is ActiveSync starts automatically in the background whenever remove and put the battery again or during changing the sim card. Any solution ?

Some suggestions
1. HTC Home skin : is smaller in length than the previous Roms (core 19949 skin is better)
2. Keyboard : can make Keyboard make it as Black (core 19949 Keyboard is better).
3. HTC Home icons : Icons are similar to iPhone on HTC Home, but not that user friendly (Core 19949 HTC Home icons are much better and Icons should be unique to O2 rather than taken from iPhone)
4.S2X applications : Why can't use all the applications from A_C such as S2P, S2V, S2U2 keeping all O2 original applications.
5. Messaging : PowerSMS is good application to include inside the ROM.
6. HTC Home customizer : (with Diamond clock option ) should come together with HTC Home.

Improvements Suggestions :
1.Something similiar Atom NOW skin like SPB mobile shell or PointUI (no need if using S2U2)
2.More theme packs from different models like Samsung Omnia, HTC Diamond, etc..
3. More games (optional).

I guess with these suggestions will make xda Atom more user friendly and no need to include imp third party softwares as it will be builtin.
I hope Sonblack will consider this for his next ROM core 20273.
More the features, more good will be the look and more chances of getting donation..;)

is someone knows why does this WM 6.1 core 20748 doesnt install correctly the SQLCE2.0? When i run the program that uses the SQLCE2.0 could not see the database that it needs to show.
Im using the software e-Sword, its a Bible reader software that installed both the reader and the SQLCE.
i migrated from Jiggs last WM6 to this WM6.1 and it was running fine before.

I think this is my first post. First of all Thanks for this wonderful ROM. But i am facing one problem which is whenever I connect blue tooth dial up connection it connects but disconnect after 5 minute. 5 minute means exactly 5 minutes. First i thought this is my O2 Atom Problem. But with other ROM like jiggs it is working fine. Can you please tell me where can i do changes to get rid of this problem. I don't want to miss this ROM, I like this ROM very much.

sorry for the basic questions, but i did try it in another computer. the only thing is it failed and asking for a dll file which i think is because i did not install the activesync in that pc. i am using my laptop on this atom a lot due to the outlook task,contacts and calendar on my work.
anyway, i will try again.
Also any of you guys knows why the sqlce 2.0 is not installing correctly on core 20275 or 20478? i think it is because one of the dll file which is the MSSLQuery20.dll is missing in the registry, anyone have this dll file? and how to put it in registry also?

hi i've installed rom pdaviet 20753 and 20755 and i've tried to install manila 2d in between roms ! the Installation is complete but on screen was write tap here to start touch flo and after touched doesn't happen nothing... can you do a rom with manila touch 2d installed ??

3.unpack the extended rom and place the cab file and sdconfig.txt in to your storage card.
4.unpack the core 19971 and flash your device and after flashing cabs files were installed automaticaly.

Looks like you may have flashed 20755 ROM before and left the diskimage in C:\Windows\Temp ... this time somehow the diskimage did to extract and overwrite to 19971 and you flashed it.

OR probably you downloaded it wrong...many links on the homepage...Other than that , I don't think its possible.

FIRST U CAN ONLY FLASH THE ROM THEN ONLY INSTALL OPERA 1938 TO STORAGE CARD AND INSTALL AUDIO MANAGER TO PHONE MEMORY,HTC ALBUM TO STORAGE CARD ,DONT INSTALL YOU TUBE BECAUSE IT WILL NOT WORK,THEN 25MB WILL LEFT IN THE PHONE MEMORY AND TOUCH 2D WILL WORK DEFENITLY.

Just would like to highlight some issues regarding core 19971 (Manila 2D built-In).
1. I have tried it on my Xda Atom and I felt it's too slow and for Audio Manager it takes long time when pass by Audio Manager.
2. What is the way to adjust pagepool to 6MB after flashing the ROM?

I have reverted myself to ROM Core 20748 (Like the iPhone dialer and Calculator Skin)

Seems like you had the O2 Atom Release 2 (by helloworld1) before this. That bootloader gives HP screen. Well my atom was able to enter the OS and flashed it from there. Did you try flashing while you had the HP screen ON ?

I adjusted S2U2 settings already. Everything is ok now. I don't have device for testing A2DP so I don't know how it work.

Installed 19971 Final edition and all is ok. I have noticed that when S2U2 is running the clock digits do not align with the background image. As I write this my local time is 0:52. The 0 is centred in the left white box but the 52has the 2 centred with the 5 overlapping the middle blue border.

Hope it cooked again with different STK software

All version of your WM6.1 have problem with STK service.. (i already try it on my xda atom)

Please read the first post. Download link is there and core 19971 is latest ROM by Sonblack. I have tried it on my O2 Atom, Works very nice and touchflo speed is very fast with Blue Manila 2D interface.

I have my Atom sync my outlook mail with my exchange server. The Touchflo mail tab icon shows my unread message count but the main window says that there are No Accounts. I can access my outlook mail via Messaging. Is there a way to get my Outlook mail to display?

Found the answer, you need to setup the outlook connection on the phone while not connected to activesync. Remove any exising exchange server connection first.

Hey, in 20755 you will see PIM Backup in program. Run PIM backup, choose restore function, locate your backup file, untick what you don't want to restore (in your case, don't forget to leave a tick on sms), next...... there you go.

sorry man i did it before but the problem is that the extention of the backup file is not recognized by the PIM backup it simply doesnt show it at all[:confused: so what to do...???
