Anyway to make the Hellboy clock a bit brighter so it's easier to read. It looks great but if it had maybe a bit of white or more light gray it might jump out a bit more.

hmm .. I don't really get your problem .. ?
Can't you see the theme files in TF3D config?
Do you have the '.theme' file in like 'Internal Storage/Themes', and you select that 'path' in TF3D? :confused:

I just wondering something.

The TF3D delete all manilla icone first, and copie your theme after.
But manilla is installed in ROM. After that, all his file get out from ROM and go in Main Memory.

I think, it slow down every think concerning interface.

aha .. ok .. just rename the file from .theme to .zip and extract them...
then use Manila Editor to find the files u want :)

2)Manila has an error: do you want to send to microsoft? a lot of times, diamond stops on programs icon and I have to make a soft-reset.

Hi...

Do like this and it should work..

Make sure you have copied the .theme file (not a .zip file) to a place on your phone like '\Internal Storage\Themefiles\'

Then...

Open TF3D Config..
Click on Tab 'Appearance'..
Click on Path... (upper right corner)
Chose the path of were you put the .theme files -> click OK
Press the down arrow in the dropdownlist...
Chose the theme you want...
Click Apply...


Hope you get it to work :)

Every time you install a theme or some custom manila files you 'overwrite' the original manila files...

When you delete the file again .. the original is there, because the original manila files are in the ROM ( can't be deleted! )
(unless u have a special Cooked ROM with a uninstallable TouchFlo, at least I think so!? haven't tested)

Sure... rename the Vista theme file from .theme too .zip ...
replace the clock manila files in the zip...
and change the file back to .theme

or just copy the clock files to your windows folder... ( or delete the ones you have on your phone)

First time, I just renamed the .zip file to .theme and install the theme through Diamond TF3D config.

I just had to restore the original theme and copy - paste the files from the custom manila to the Windows folder, now the landscape menu is OK...

Do like this and it should work..

Make sure you have copied the .theme file (not a .zip file) to a place on your phone like '\Internal Storage\Themefiles\'

Then...

Open TF3D Config..
Click on Tab 'Appearance'..
Click on Path... (upper right corner)
Chose the path of were you put the .theme files -> click OK
Press the down arrow in the dropdownlist...
Chose the theme you want...
Click Apply...


Hope you get it to work :)

btw.. you don't need a hard reset to get it to work again :o
just delete (or copy a backup of it) of 26948339_manila and it's back to normal...

No worries - I have sorted it now. I downloaded 'JUVS HTC Enlarge Start Menu' from http://freewareppc.com/utilities/juvshtcenlargestartmenu.shtml. This gives you the option of enabling the large start menu. Then I just disabled it. This also sorts out the problem with the black font on the dark grey back ground.

It works! When I reveal my keypad, it shows your bluish theme for that screen! Call history tab also working now, had to install it twice for some reason... THANK YOU AGAIN! This is probably the first theme to work with the Touch Pro properly!

Edit: Okay, I noticed something strange. When I used your v1 theme, it somehow fixed my Menu problem in the SMS tab (manila crashes), but the problem is back, not that it bothered me before, but it's just strange how your first theme fixed that issue (when call history tab is installed, even on default theme)

I call it the 3 icon menu! :D

normally there are 2 icons ...

friendly name
people-tray (the small one in the bottom bar)
people-hero ( the big one, infont of the slider and at center of screen)

by adding a manila gles file and some manila image files
you get one more icon

people-focused ( The one in font of the slider, and I just made it invisible)

I've included the files in this post...

lol .. I have the same problem with the globe .. just can't make it into a custom!! Grrr :mad: :p

I downloaded and installed the original Vista theme on my Touch Pro a few weeks ago. I noticed that on the programs tab if you select all programs and on the settings tab if you select sound, the font is all black and I can't see the words.

I've tried to install the Vista Ultimate theme but it doesn't work on my Touch Pro for some reason. I used TF3D Config. to restore the default theme before installing any other one but the Vista Ultimate theme just doesn't appear. I don't get errors either.

Also, do you think you can add the Calendar tab with a slick icon to you themes in the future?

Its the weather file... It shouldn't be there, I forgot to remove it :o

could be that I base my theme's on the 1.93 ROM TF3D..?

Inside the zip file there should be a theme file (if it's a theme u downloaded)
or there are _manila files, in that case just copy the manila files to your windows folder...

If I make a theme cab file it will be 10Mb big!
I don't see the point of having a 10Mb cab file instead of a 1,9Mb theme file :rolleyes:

If I start making one for u .. then everybody what's me to make a cab of that theme and this theme ... no sorry but no..

U can make your own cab theme file
Just rename .theme to .zip and unzip the files then use QuickCab (do a search) to make a cab :D

I have stock 1.93 ROM and loads of app's installed..
Just remember to install it to Internal Storage... and It shouldn't slow down your phone... (I have no prof of this, just my opinion :rolleyes:)

*sigh* It's probably my Vista that's acting strange; it won't show manila.exe in ANY window... I can see it through FileZilla (for instance), but Windows hides it in all windows... So annoying, but it's not your .zip file, I'll try to figure out what's going on with my pc ;)

a .theme file is just a .zip file that's been renamed...

It's gone take me a bit of time to explain all the manila files and what they do.. so I tell u the short version

let say someone that has a Vodaphone Red TF3D phone as original in ROM..

If u only give him the files u edited, it will look wrong...

so have a base of manila files (I use TF3D black standard from the 1.93 ROM)

there are 4 types of manila files

* Images
* Gles
* Luaq
* Xml

u need all image , gles and luaq files... (well maybe not all, but to be on the safe side)
U could include the xml files too but most of them are just language files... (translations)
U may need some xml files!

And u want to keep it as small as possible... It takes up space on the phone...

4cdb88a5_manila - This is the Music Tab settings.. don't need it...

26948339_manila - This is the TF3D tab's settings and more...

the easiest way is to take a .theme file that u know works and rename it to .zip .. and u can see what files there is..

Theme looks GREAT but ... you should make a home icon and calendar icon in the same style :/ Because these icons dosen`t fit in anyway :/ i would lunch this theme but a dont like different style of callendar and home tab icons ;) Iunderstand that these icons are active icons but maybe you should make another version with standart similar style icons not active :) That would be REALY GREAT !

Theme looks GREAT but ... you should make a home icon and calendar icon in the same style :/ Because these icons dosen`t fit in anyway :/ i would lunch this theme but a dont like different style of callendar and home tab icons ;) Iunderstand that these icons are active icons but maybe you should make another version with standart similar style icons not active :) That would be REALY GREAT !

Still no luck with the weather app. I guess I'll just live with it :P ... Doesn't affect functionality (just that the IDS_MINSAGO is a lil annoying).

Haven't found anyone else with the same issue so perhaps its isolated.

Since u told about the weather problem I've been loking at the weather tab more often than usual... :D

I actually get that same problem.. but when I update the weather info it goes back to normal...

My Sprint theme seems to crash manilla all the time....
I get the send error report message...

I got swiftblades 7.0 full rom...

but there is no Sprint calendar icons!
I cant go halfway here .. I make a Original Sprint theme .. then have Extra addons for calendar and clock icons :)
If u find some nice calander icons please tell me where to get them :D

thanks for the Sprint theme, I am loving it and actually also like the orange color in menu/scrolling selection, though think green still looks better. Also, call history and calendar tabs also work, without me doing any extra steps, just by installing the provided .cab file provided by you.

Just want to know:
Is it possible to have orange color everywhere, as the green is still there in main start menu and the phone dialer, or turn all into green?

Possibility to have analog clock (like in the new touch 3g i think, instead of digital?

I will try to make one ;) But it can take some time :D But if somebody has one of the oryginal Diamond callendar icon would be grat ;) But i`ll see what i can do for You. after that This theme will be the best one ... Because of your work of course ;)

you can change back to standard green startmenu by changing the HTC Black in Start -> Settings -> Today

but changing in TF3D to green ... u have to change allot of manila files... :o
And changing the phone dialer is completely different files in windows folder... think they are ordinary .png files... haven't looked in to it..

I have looked at the phone dialer images.. and I dont see any green in it :confused:
I dont use the HTC Dialer.. could you maybe explain (screenshot maybe) what parts u think should change colour?

I am using HTC Dialer, and therefore I mean the selection of name/number from history, and when key/numbers are pressed, the back key (think that is it) = all that in orange.

If that is too much work, then forget it .... tnx.
