lost the ability to change alarms

After experimenting with the buggy klaxion, which I promptly uninstalled, I have lost the ability to change my windows mobile alarm sound, as it is now missing from the list of different events/reminders in settings. Can anyone help me recover this without a hard reset?

come on! someone must has a reg entry to fix the damn thing. I cant believe the alarm option is missing from the list of sounds/alerts you can customise in settings..

could anyone who uses klaxon, please check to see if alarm is still listed in sound notifications.
