View Full Version : Delay before caller can hear me answer.

When I respond to an incoming call I find I have to repeat "Hello" about 3 times before the caller can hear me.

Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this lag?

I think (but am not certain) that I've had this problem to some degree with all my windows mobile phones to date.

Thanks in advance.

same here
TLR3 and 05 radio, not using bluetooth, happens on 3g and 2g.
i too have schaps advanced config, tried removing it, no different so can rule that out.

Its not that bad, at worst I have to say "hello" twice. Its a little bit hard to get used to, but no dissaster.
The same thing was affecting my Moto V3i, there was a lag uppon opening the clam before the caller could hear me.

cheers

I may have found a clue- on my phone when somebody calls the mobile tries to look the contact up in 200+ contacts and this is causing 1-2 secs delay before the phone is ready to answer. If the person's number is unknown i.e. not being transmitted by the carrier the phone responds faster.

Possible solution: Start -> Settings -> Phone -> Advanced: uncheck Vibrate device when connection is established and I uncheck when a call is connecting .....

I've noticed this delay too but it is inconsistent, a bit like the rest of the phone, sometimes fast sometimes slow with most functions.
