[Q]HELP ME

First of all excusme for my schoolastic english!!
I have bought an Elf or Elfin no targed HTC!!
I have try everything for update my unknowed ROM, when i install enable-rapi and then go with ELF-USPL my phone freeze after second step!! If not install enable-rapi yellow penguin and LINUX command appear on screen and after phone reboot alone (i try this more and more time).
Newer i get bootloader-mode i try all the suggestions in these threads!!
I have tried device_info utility also but errors on screen and only Model No: ELF0
no CID no ID no IPL no SPL!!

So i don't know nothing on my TOUCH GSM i only know this
CE OS 5.2.1711(build 18165.0.5.0)
Processor ARM926T OMA850 400MHZ
Memory: 45.27
Expansion slot : Not in use

Well, lets first try to identify which device you have... You say you know for sure that your processor is 400mhz, well, Elf's and Elfins have 200mhz processors. The only "Touch" that has a 400mhz processor is the Vogue. Is your phone GSM or CDMA (does it use a sim card or not?). If it is really a 400mhz processor, I have my doubts that it's an Elfin, it's probaby a Vogue (CDMA), in which case you are posting in the wrong forum, and that might explain your problems updating your rom.

NEVER flash an Elf/Elfin rom to a Vogue, you will brick your device.

Guitar thanks for answer, EveryWan Remote Support Personal Edition said me thats is 400mhz, but i found in internet that my processor is 200mhz and so u have reason this is a Elf/Elfin

just go into Start>settings>system>device information and check the Processor, RAM and ROM size in hardware tab. that's enough to decide which u have i guess.

Thanks for answer, my problem is that under Settins>System i have only About and not Device Information!! I think this phone bought in China has some informations hidden or locked!!!

Here, try this file, rename the file to deviceinfo.exe and run from your device. You should be able to run this from the SD card.

I had that thought when I saw this thread. Was simply waiting for someone else to voice it out :D

Guess we'll have to wait and watch what the device info shows on his device

well now its confirmed that its fake. htc has never made any model named 'ELF0'. u should go to the shop from which u bought it & ask them to return your money..... otherwise go to the nearest police station.

Actually, my device_info.bat tool returns "ELF0" by default if it cannot read any of the values (e.g. 10150). I'll fix my script so that it doesn't say "ELF0" if nothing was retrieved.

If the itsme tools cannot retrieve or even set the Application Unlock then it's most likely a clone. Tambolino also said the software was by MTK, which is actually what people w/ clones have mentioned before.

Ok, sorry to resurrect an old thread, but doesn't the 400MHz indicate that this is a Vogue?? Or do the clones also have 400MHz?
